So whats the best way to get your hands on the Adidas NMD's if you live int the US? Also why don't they sell them in the US?

I would say the official drops. Seem to be almost monthly so it shouldn't be long before another. Lots of leaks and samples point to a decent revision coming soon to the NMDs so these next few drops this might be the last couple of chances before they look a little different. Adidas site sucks tho so prepare for frustration.

If you live in a major city you might have luck with in store, seems like Footaction just got in some stock. NMDs are pretty hot right now so it's gonna be tough.

Footaction carries them. In fact they released the Saturday drops early yesterday.

If you're lucky, they're not sold out.

It was the black Japan PK, grey Japan PK, and beige PK.

Ordered the metallic navy 1's. Saw a friend's new pair in person and they look really nice.

Kinda surprised they're sitting, the leather quality is pretty damn good. Not shattered backboard / banned quality or anything, but still solid.

Eh most luxe sneaker brands have jumped the shark to me so I don't blame you for not feeling any of them. I kinda want to go old school and get a pair of Dior B01s but those are $700 or so now which seems kinda excessive.

The only Yeezy raffle I looked up was this nice looking shop in Hollywood I follow on IG. Their raffle required you to like their post announcing the raffle and tag two of your followers in a comment, then show up in person at the store to register for the raffle. Yeah no.

I only fucked with the raffles that sneakernews linked to and none of the ones that asked for any Instagram/Facebook shit or getting too personal with the info. Even then I'm still feeling kinda antsy about it.

No doubt some of these sites aren't that secure and are happy having you on their email lists.

I wouldn't give a shit about anyyyyyyy of this if Adidas just held an official raffle on top of the confirmed pairs but noooooo.

Hopefully those looking for the 750 raffles get lucky, hoping to see at least some GAFers get the hook ups lol. Also looks like Adidas is planning on dropping more 350s this year, definitely going to be watching those closely.

They're far more roomier in the toe box than any Nike boots I have worn. I have to go maybe up to a full size up in Nike boots due to my toe rubbing against the sides. The flyknit on these is really stretchy, they're nice though. My only complaint so far is that they're isn't much cushion in the sole.

Pumas look great. Only reason I have bought a pair is because the ones in store have a mesh toe box. I would prefer leather.

not surprised since he's the best player in the world, but it's still amazing to see underarmour outselling nike or adidas.

I have a pair of Curry 2s I use for the gym. I like them.

Didn't manage to cop any Primeknit NMD (of course...), but was able to get the blue R1 online today. Surprisingly then also managed to get the grey colorway in town. Too bad I really can't allow myself to own both right now :/

edit: is there a reason they don't make primeknit NMD's in size 15?? Da fuck man. I can find size 15 ultra boosts no problem, but the NMD's literally don't exist.

nike aint worried. with all those sales UA bball shoes as a whole are still a sliver of the bball market. Nike strength is in numbers.

Nike did play themselves jacking up the KDs price so much and they know it. the new KD will be like $30 or $40 cheaper

The new LeBrons need to be cheaper too because those things are getting uglier and more expensive. Almost every single 13 is in outlets lmao.

I also wonder how Lebron shoes will do after he retires (dat lifetime contract). I don't think anyone is gonna be buying ugly Lebron retros in 10 years. Jordan he ain't.

Yeah Nike will regret that. The only one Id buy retros of are the 4s.

He aint even Penny from a shoe perspective. Him not making the finals when they did the MVPuppets thing with him and Kobe was such a missed opportunity. It also feels like they dont put any effort into the actual marketing anymore. Those Chamber of Fear and the basketball church commercials were so dope. Same way it also seem like they abandoned the Uncle Drew campaign. Dont recall any KD commercials ever.

More than anything I wish Nike would give out more sig models instead of PEs. No reason why PG and The Brow dont already have shoes. Shit even Pippen and Barkley had sigs.

Id like them to go back to desigining shoes that just flat out look good too. Theyre too performance oriented these days. And then just making normal team colorways. Is it too much to ask for a straight up Cavs colored Lebron. Navy and Maroon. They always tryna be too clever and "tell stories"

100% all this. Don't need to get too complex with colorways and it's not impossible to balance looks and performance.
