Exactly put that out. But Nike hides the team colors in the ID function, if they even make it available at all, and they put out stupid shit like those Friday the 13th Lebrons that FLOPPED. cmon fam

I can't believe you guys are being so hard on the Swoosh.

UA are horrible design wise. An off brand like Brand Black designs better looking shoes. But I give them credit for making a cheap shoe and delivering solid performance.

Nike definitely needs to dial down the price of their shoes though. NA Air Jordan Retro pricing is ridiculous. Retro Jordan's should not cost more than $140.

And they dropped the ball hard on the AJ XXX. They never released the Russell Westbrook Galaxy PE and all the good designs were PEs for schools or Nike athletes. They did the same thing for the XX9 which many laud as a great on court shoe.

Glad they lowered the KD price and included some solid tech (flyknit, zoom, etc). The Black/Multi pair looks good.

Don't get me wrong I'm no fan of adidas or UA bball shoes, but at the end of the day Curry is selling circles around everyone.

And granted I'm speaking strictly on design. All of Nike's recent stuff looks bad imo, but I'm sure some of it is good as far as performance and comfort.

Well I dont buy UA or Adidas so I dont really care what they do. I could write a screed on all the things i dont like about their design principles since Im in the industry.

But at the end of the day im loyal to Nike/Jordan. And there are a ton of things they can do better. We used to complain about retro quality. They (for the most part) fixed that.

My big thing is that you can do performance without sacrificing looks. Because at the end of the day its the looks that sell the shoe unless youre one of those BallIsLife people. Thats why all this mess is sitting and hitting outlets. Ugly silhouettes, stupid colorways and absurd prices.

Is $400 for size 15 lance mountain 1's too good to be true? The white ones. Tempted to buy them, but I'm wondering if they're fakes or something...supposedly new with the box too. I don't know how much LM's usually go for.

im not sure but i think thtas pretty fair? i dont think theres any good fakes of LM 1s plus the dude proabably couldn't find a buyer with size 15 feet

That's what I was thinking, size 15's are probably harder to resell.

Also, looking on eBay it seems like $400 or around that is a lot more common than I thought.

Honestly, he needs to tell them to step their aesthetic game up for the 4s (3s are already in the shoot). These are his prime years. Capitalize on it. Imagine if Nike was dropping garbage for the Air Jordan from a design stand point. I remember everyone frothing at the mouth for the AJ 3 when I was a kid. Same for the Do the Right Things (aka WC 4s). Will Smith/Seinfeld with the Grapes.

And LMs sell for $400. I might have to part with mine. They're still DS.

yeah i mean when you look at old jordans it screams performance for the best, even though their pretty clunky bball shoes now when you look at them during their respective times they look revolutionary. Curry shoes looks run of the mill tbh. Colorways are also ass.

I think a few lebrons will still sell especially the Lows. Every lebron low thats ever been released has been fire to me. Its fair to say in lebron series the lows most of the time has been better in looks than mids. People will probably not pay as much as they would pay to a pair of Js though. I got the Lebron XII low st marys st vincent colorway. One of my favorite shoes from 2014 or 15. Will also get the xii lows USA or olympics colorway.

Kobe might sell more shoes than bron 20 years from now.

Pulled the trigger on the Lance Mountains. I think the guy thought I was resistant to the price or something so he ended up at $385 lmao. He said it's tough to find size 15 people when reselling.

I'm hyped. LM 1's are among the coolest shoes Nike SB / Jordan has ever put out imo. Just need to track down a black pair now (which seems harder to do than the white).

Was a slight delay in getting these as I had them delivered to work but I was out sick when they arrived on Friday.

Immediately swapped out the laces for the navy ones and the leather is really great. Not sure when I'll get around to wearing them but so glad I bought them.

Such a clean shoe. I'm going to double up when opportunity presents itself. These are selling for 150 on GOAT right now. Might even hit outlets soon or go on sale at one of the smaller shoe chains.

A lot of YouTubers are hyping the shoe up so it may dry up soon tho.
