End had it for $139, i swoop quickly ....yah, Nike and other companies are going a bit overboard with jacking up the prices on there sneakers ....

I skimmed the last 4 or so pages of the Jordan V thread on NT and they seemed generally pleased with the shoes. I got mine today and I think they're great. They look and feel like Nike basketball shoes from 1990, for better or worse.

Because it's an OG release. Those are gravy, but they can be super particular about newer ones.

Scooped up the Human Race NMD's and the Grey Japan's... First NMD's and last at size 13... Will be going down a 1/2 size from here on out.

edit: I take that back for the Human Race's. They are TTS 13. The NMD's are huge.

Yeah those Player PE 1s were dope but they just had to use that material instead of leather. I would've bought them until I went to the store and had them in hand.

Same here. I'm very happy with the shoes. Don't care about the Nike Air. I just like the colorway. I wore them today at the office. A nice "low hazard" place to break them in.

As of now, I'm done with J5s until the next red toros release. I have the white Fire Reds, Black Metallic silvers and the black & red J5 Low Alternates that came out earlier this year (and are probably my favorite J5s). Yeah, I'm done with the J5 until the toros.

Speaking of ysl i have their lambskin jacket that was gifted to me by my girl and family. Too bad no one knows what saint laurent is when i try to flex hard

Yeah, these and the fire reds are the only 5's i like. Laney's are ok.

But I'll be honest and say that no one really knows designer labels unless they're the ones that are heavily branded like Gucci or LV. I personally think those are tacky but dope at the same time lol.

I've been wearing some low cut Nike Elite Running socks recently but if I do a lot of walking the ribbed area on the top of the sock starts to irritate my foot. So looking for some socks that are more comfortable.

They are $164.99 on the website, but I got them for 50% off due to where I work. So, that adds up to $88 + I tacked on a free shipping coupon. They're actually running shoes, but they look so good for something of the likes, so I decided to buy them. Initially, I was going to get the Navy Blue, but I decided to go for black.

Made in the USA :p

Who else here likes New Balance? I have a big foot, so I tend to gravitate towards their selection.

I like the classic NB silhouettes like the 990 (OG), 997 and 998. 574, 577, 996, 1400, 1500, etc are cool depending on the color ways.

Haven't bought a pair in a minute.

As far as why the Metallics are sitting, probably pice and just over exposure.

Nike needs to dial back their profit margin capitalization and slow down releasing so many sneakers. It's truly ridiculous. Probably why Lebrons and KDs hit the outlets so quick. Adidas and UA are killing them from a price perspective. They were pushing it when they made KDs $180 last year. No chill. And ridiculous when the signature athlete was pushing for lower price points. The Kyries were a good price point.

The LeBron 14s are dropping down to $175. Kyrie 3s are staying at $120. The KD 9s are $150 too.

Only pricing I don't like with Nike is Tech Knit. £150 for a hoodie. Nike pls...

I too got my J5's earlier this week (Wednesday) but didn't get a chance to post them. Wasn't too crazy about the price but I do like them and are my second pair. Any other Jordan pairs I get from here on out have to be ones I absolutely want as there are other shoes out there I like a bit more.

i could probably get a supreme 5 for around 450-500. With the supreme binge im on maybe ill just buy those instead

The Foot Locker by my house had a pair of Olympic Uptempos in my size. The last pair they had, period. I've blown so much cash on revamping my wardrobe over the past couple of months, I said I was done until the fall. But once I held these shoes in my hands I said I'd take them. They look so good in person and to be honest they're a lot more shoe at $160 than those Jordan 5s are at $220. A _lot_ more. If MJ had repped the Uptempos they'd probably be marked at $300.

They are a fantastic shoe. I'm mad I missed out on the black and white ones.

Feel like they're just rehashing way too much now. We just got them in 2013. I got the reason to rerelease the horrible Chicago release...

Royals should've gotten a rerelease since those were ridiculously limited. Or Frags!!

Or BC3s with NA. Or Bred IVs with NA.

Farfetch has some CP lows for 189. I think IT 39, 41, and 44 left. Picture is black but description says navy blue. I already bought a pair of black a couple weeks ago but it's tempting. Even if it is navy blue.
