Any advice for a first timer launch shopper?

- is it like Ticketmaster and better to have like 4-5 devices open?
- is it better to go for your true size only?
- do the shoes just drop at the specified time or early/late?
- once you get to the payment screen can you relax or do you have to quickly checkout?
- at stores/online can you only buy one pair per address/credit card/device or can you buy like 2-3?
- what do you do after taking an L?
-Yes
-Depends on the shoe. Do research on sizing beforehand.
-Depends on the site. Some can drop minutes or seconds early.
-Unless the site reserves the cart for a period of time then yes, you need to checkout as quickly as possible.
-Depends on the site. If it's something in demand you aren't gonna get multiple pairs anyway.
-Complain about bots, call resellers scum and bitch about how shit most sites are.

- depends on the release. For the NMD OGs and the yeezy breds I had two tablets, my phone and my laptop all in the queue. For the other shoes I've nabbed online I was just either lucky and/or quick on my phone.

- depends on your foot, the shoe style and brand, really. There isn't a uniform answer in some cases, but you can always ask around here about a particular shoe and get some feedback.

- depends on the release and the website. Some are advertised well in advance, and some are surprise releases/restocks at a random hour.

- payment screen is a good first step for most sites, but you can get cartjacked on super hype releases on sites that don't secure you a window lol. I don't feel confident until I get an email saying they got my order, and I don't rest easy until the shoe has actually shipped.

- I only buy online so I'm not sure about in-store, but a lot of hype releases only allow 1 or 2 pairs per person.

- complain on GAF

When I was still buying Jordans SNKRS was my best bet. Just wake up on time and be on the app right away. I usually got the W.

The bred 1's were draw only, though, so that made it tougher. Just have to enter and hope you get picked.

What I mean for size is for say the Creamy V2s - If I load into the site and my exact size is sold out - do I just assume it's sold out permanently and buy a half size up/down. My only reference is Ticketmaster and they have waves of tickets or they empty bot baskets after they time out. Would you expect more stock to be available or take what you can get - type mentality?

Thanks

OK I'm really unsure what to think about the UltraBoost Uncaged.
I'm a size 11 and today I tried on a size 10, 10.5 and 11. While all pairs had enough room in the toebox, they all just felt very tight on the top of the foot around the laces area (I laced them all the same way - loose as can be).

Does anyone have experience with these shoes and whether they stretch out a bit?

edit: oh it was also pretty funny, people were already camping out with their chairs waiting for tomorrow's drop...thats dedication. Didn't know they were going to be THAT hard to come by.

Yeah they stretch out a bit. I had tightness there and in the Achilles area but both loosen over time. I used the innermost islets for the laces.

It depends on your foot, but they definitely loosen up a bit after a few wears.

I get them in my regular ultra boost size and they fit fine.
