SNES model 2 substitute AC adapter?

So, I wanted to hook up my SNES tonight to play some Yoshi's Island, and I don't seem to have the AC adapter anymore. :( What other adapters are the same? Will the Genesis one work with it?

Was it different from the regular SNES adaptor? If not, I'm pretty sure that the NES and SNES adaptors were the same. I'd have to check to make sure though.

Not sure about the model one SNES, and I don't have an NES either.

Well the first SNES needs to have a DC10V 850mA power supply. I just checked the bottom of my NES and it used a DC9V 850mA power supply but I always use my SNES power supply for it.

my NES adapter says AC9V, 1.3A, its 1st party
My NES adaptor is in a box (since I use my SNES adaptor for it), I read it off the bottom of my NES.

build your own with parts from radio shack.
have fun while you learn about the basic principles of electricity.
then enjoy playing your snes.

So ... try to make an AC adapter... fail completely... blow up my SNES, and possibly start a small fire?

AWESOME.
