I don't know how much this has been covered in the mainstream press, but six of the largest talent agencies in Korea have got together to scout and develop non-Korean singers/actors/dancers etc, inside S.Korea. I already know of two girls band's in Singapore that are part of the first wave of imported talent.

They are hoping that if the Korean's can accept imported talent, singing in Korean - they can more easily export them after their début

I never really got the appeal of RM before so I never watched any. But I've been on a Yoona marathon today and just got through about half of episode 39 and I gotta say, this show is pretty good. Initially I wanted to watch Running Man just as an excuse to follow certain idols, but having started from episode one I've became more attached to main cast and their 'relations' with other cast members that I now watch it for them, with idol guests appearing more as an added bonus than a reason to watch.
