I think it only applies to the week of, but not after. Basically you can't win on your debut/comeback week, or maybe it's really uncommon.

Eh, I'm a singer so high notes aren't what gets to me. Hitting it is the easy part; all the shit you do around it is the hard part. Breath control, vibrato control, clean transfer between registers, etc. Dat finesse.

Lol, I have to agree with this. The few musicians I know personally have drastically different ideas of what "good" music is. Something about having too much information...like dogs and dog whistles or something. Not that they're wrong and I'm right or vice versa.
