So, apparently I have a terrible fashion sense.

I don't really know how to begin so I guess I'll just get to the point; my friends are constantly mocking my tendecy to wear fleeces. I have long sleeve shirts that I like to wear but I like my fleeces too and I wouldn't want my mom to have bought me them for nothing. I guss that's primarily my problem, I don't go shopping for myself that often and just rely on whatever my mom picks up, it doesn't usually bother me. I don't wear any band shirts, college attire, sports stuff, or the usual. Most of my clothes just have plain colors and a stripe here and there. I guess I could see my choice of clothing rather plain and ordinary, but I guess it's just me. My friends say I look gay (in the literal sense) and I'm almost positive they think I am, but I'm not. I'm not sure if most would consider it looking "nice" or "mature" but I think I do and I guess thats the look I'm about.

Also I keep the collar up, I never really thought of folding it like I see some people do. I apologize for the ramble; I guess my personality is as boring as my fashion sense.

Your mom still purchases clothing for you?

How old are you? 11? (In which case, your account will be immediately banned)

tedtropy

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
Quick, somebody fire up the Olimario Signal! :lol

Since when did folding your collar become the exception rather than the norm?

And you dont really have ANY fashion sense at all if someone else is deciding what you wear. It really wouldnt take much effort to shop once in a while yourself,

No, I'm 16. I guess I should be more embarrased than I thought. :(

Honestly I did go shopping this time for winter clothes and picked out the usual stuff I wear.

EDIT: I wouldn't no where to begin to get other clothes. My friends say "Just get college stuff"...but I don't even watch any college sports or anything.

Holy shit youre 16! Well I think the effort put into maybe shopping for yourself would far outweigh people thinking youre gay.

Haha.

And got home from shopping just in time to suck on mommy's nipple, eh?

I did have a tool shirt, too small for me now. I'm going to pick up another later, but besides that I really am fine with everything else.

Yeah, I've seen most of those. Maybe I will pick up one for xmas just as another alternative. It's not like my friends are always bashing me or anything they just like to bring it up every...week...haha. But no one else mentions anything and I talk to plenty other people.

Yeah, and if you're gonna get some Tool shirts you should probably just go the whole way and pick up some baggy, chain/cloth-strip adorned black pants, black nail polish and a spiked collar at Hot Topic. :lol

If you want to have 'good fashion' then don't worry about what other people are wearing and worry about how what you are wearing fits your basic physical features. Stature, skin tone, eye color and hair. You should find a color tone which works with you, such as bright(yellow, white, saturated reds), night(black, dark blue, gray) earthy(brown, green, gray) or whatever. If you wear something and someone gives you a compliment, then work with what you were wearing that day. Something worked there with who you are.

I used to have a couple Tool t-shirts back in the day... "All Indians, no Chiefs" (with the Jesus image/logo) , and "Embrace". Even though I think Tool are a bit dodgy now, I'd still wear the "All Indians..." one. Loved that t-shirt.

Anyway, a good zip-up hoodie is a nice "catch all". I find that as long as you've got nice pants on, the top / shirt / t-shirt is not a huge issue in this age of irony (unless it's truly ghastly. But even then it still may work. Heh.).

:lol :lol :lol I didn't think you were serious. It was a lot funnier when he said he needed to get another Tool shirt.

Ahahahahahhaha, dude. Individuality? Every other "Jugalo" and their cousin rocks those T-Shirts. Fleece is so 1998 it's not funny. Old Navy killed them with their "Tech Vests." I know style... I have the pics to prove it:

It ain't bragging if it's true.

Basically, do your best to dress like I do, and you'll look good. Or you can do something else, it takes a bit more work. That is, work out. Focus on the abs, pecs and arms, particularly the biceps. If you work those out enough, you don't HAVE to wear shirts. It's awesome. I'm almost there, I've increased in mass since the "Oh Canada" picture.

Basic Protip: Brown/tan/white calls for brown shoes, which also calls for a brown belt. Use black shoes/black belt for darker outfits. NEVER EVER wear brown shoes and a black belt vice versa. That can ruin your day.

Good luck, judging from your discription and the other people giving you advice, you'll need it! :lol

Protip2: Don't listen to Olimario or Lonestar (Incognito) they have already displayed that they have cookie cutter Abercrombie fashion sence. It's pathedic. :D

Bullshit.
You have some decent clothes, but even the ones that look nice are WAY too baggy. I know we liked to wear clothes loose 7 years ago, but that time has passed.

Ok fair enough but not keeping someones style and making them someone theyre not are two very different things.

TheBlackStallion delivers again with an amazing post. You must be a joke character! and you really dont know 'style' at all.

What happened to, "I don't give a fcuk about whats 'in'- but I'm cool anyways' style?
Does such a style even exist?

Yes, and I have perfected it. All I am saying is that this kid is free to follow me. I don't care. Just as long as my unique fashion sence doesn't "catch on" and is picked up by some movie star or something, I'm safe. I was wearing trucker caps BEFORE they were cool. Meceola Little leage bitch. I never played... I just happend to have the hat. I loved it. I quit wearing it in 6th grade. Bite me, Ashton Kutcher.

Oli, please, don't ever try to tell me you have "style" or a "fashion sense" you just have a big wallet and good eyesight. You see what the next "cool" person is wearing and you buy it too.

And no, I am no joke character. I am the real deal. The one... the only... Da Illest.

I wear what I think looks good. I mix and match and create my own style.
You wear generic, baggy clothes from 5 years ago.

Da Illest?

And you wear genaric tight clothes with designes stolen from 40 years ago. The difference is, people ASK me how I look so damn good. I stand out. In a good way mind you. You, well, blend in. You're just another Abercrombie tool. Another face in the sea of faces.

Oli and TBS are both correct in that they have terrible style. Olis Matlock 'makeover' was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen.

And how the hell is his clothing generic and yours isn't?

Personally I couldn't give what other people say about what I wear. The only times where I tend to change my clothes before I go out is if my girlfriend gives me that look that says, "like hell you're going out there with me looking like that! change those damn clothes boy!"

One thing I hate about the whole fashion scene - those wankers that wear designer clothes, spike their hair all the time and look like the Nazi Army's 2nd coming since they all look in uniform together. There's always a damn group of them milling around, why is that?!

Don't be harsh. olimario is a makeover genius - for in his Matlock makeover, he created the American Chav.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Have a heart. Olimario was too stupid to graduate from high school, so lets operate under the pretense that this was because he was too concerned with how he looked.

Phew, it was seriously hard work not laughing while revewing your pics. You seriously need help. You look like one of my class mates. He's like 5'5" has a hunch back, and some nerve disease that makes him walk with a limp. And he smells. Bleh.

Anyway, after hours painstaiking Photoshop work I have done a "makeover" for you here we go:

Watching people argue about fashion is funny.

Kinda like watching people argue about politics. Or game systems.

The Crystal X-Box is WAY more fashionable than the Standard black, PLUS it hates George Bush.

BlackStallion, your ego is absolutely out of control. You think you're a complete badass...and you're posing in front of a MINIVAN? Let me guess....the license plate says DAILLST, right? The fact that you keep posting your pictures here is clear evidence that you have GOT to be among the most insecure people I know.

tt_deeb, if you are really bothered by being "unfashionable," the best advice I'd offer is to look around you, find someone whose style you admire, and imitate them. Looking through magazines is also a good approach. However, a better long-term approach is to develop your own style and be comfortable with who you are.
