Let's see, I mentioned Xbox, PSX, Saturn. Wow, that makes me quite the Nintendo fan. Fucking idiot.JackFrost2012 said:I believe you mean two retarded kids.
No, just an elitist Nintendo fanboy one. Much better.

Society said:I have no problem with this. In fact, I have no problems going from Xbox games to PSX/Saturn games (the ugliest of ugly in terms of 3d). I play old games, alongside new games, all the time. Then again I am not an elitist attention whoring prick.

Drinky Crow said:Sure. Lookin' for PSP Ridge Racers, Timesplitters 3 Xbox, and/or Mercenaries Xbox. I'll trade for any two of the above.

My other problem with the touch screen, on the technical side of things, is that it has a visible grid layer that makes it look less sharp than the upper screen.

So guess what Drinky got

"Herpes?"
According to a FAQ at GameFAQs, there are actually two slightly different touch screens in units out there. I don't remembre what they called the other type, but I've got a grid one too. Slight differences in look, sensitivy, and speed (of reaction to touch) apparently.Jonnyboy117 said:The touch screen could definitely be more sensitive. Of course, if we're ignoring the portability factor, the PSP would become completely superfluous.Drinky Crow said:he informed me that I might consider Zookeeper which had just dropped in price to $30 -- not bad for a game you can find for FREE on most Flash-gaming web sites in a marginally less portable form.
For most minor uses your finger should work well as long as you're not an XTREME nail-biter. Of course, with your current borked unit that might not be the case.Drinky Crow said:And how the hell to they expect me to use a stylus when playing Castlevania. Do I take my right hand off the jump/sword button and grope about for my stylus, then cast it aside whenever the unnecessary little touch task is done with?

"Yer fucked," he observed to some point just past my head, probably the massive wall of Gamecube used games.

Days like these... said:I agree with Drinky It's bulky and ill designed. If only Nintendo would have released GBA SP EX 360 (or whatever) that has the DS' nice backlight screen I'd buy it in a second! I haven't played my DS since i got my PSP. Thinking about getting Minish Cap for my DS though I' m sure it would look real nice on the DS screen.
Drinky actually likes certain things about Nintendo a lot. What he doesn't like is how "minority party" Nintendo has increasingly differentiated themselves over the last decade. If they started losing money on more expensive systems and dropped anything remotely resembling bongos, touch screens, microphones, or motion control he'd be a happy man.rod said:drinky just a DS hater? or a nintendo hatah
Well, there were reports a month or so back about a new Game Boy showing up at E3, and some of the speculation from that has been that it could be a new model GBA. Perhaps smaller, with a DS-like screen, perhaps something like the Play-Yan built in. We shall see.Monk said:I agree, that screen for the SP would have been damned nice.![]()
