So, yeah. I've been working on a proposal for the last two months, and the deadline for submission is approaching -- basically by the end of today. It was brought to my attention this weekend that the supposed-to-be-final pricing run had multiple errors, and at least two of the mistakes were things that I had provided specific direction NOT to do last week.
I confirmed the mistake this morning, and provided instructions on how to correct the mistakes around 9:30 this morning. I have not received ANY updated information since that time, no one on the pricing staff is returning my phone calls, and if this slips any later, I will probably be forced to cancel my evening plans so I can sit at home by the phone and VPN to monitor the status.
What the FUCK is going on here? Do I speak in fucking Pig Latin or something? Is it unreasonable to expect that professionals should be able to read an email and follow clear instructions?
