Did SAT scoring change recently?

Within the last year or so, the entire test was revamped, complete with new scoring. So those of us that took the old test now appear stupid to anyone judging based on the new system.

And about the SAT's, no more analogies, they added an essay, if you leave a math problem blank, no points taken off, that's about all the changes.

Whoa, no more analogies? That was, like, the only part of the verbal section that made you think somewhat.


I mean, it's bad enough that they added an essay, which I think is atrocious simply because it leaves the door open for subjectivism in grading, no matter how detailed the grading criteria are. Meh.
