So, wait...they tried to double charge you and the second payment was declined, so they didn't send you your item? What if it hadn't been declined, you would have just been charged twice? Get it together Amazon.es.
Strolled into a FNAC today, plenty of everything.
Impulse bought a neon and zelda.
I'm gonna regret it...
Update: checked four stores in a nearby city on my way back home; none of them had Zelda. Each had just around two copies of Just Dance 2017 and all had a whole bunch of 1-2-Switch. After getting back home, Zelda randomly popped back up on Bol.com ( New shipment already? Found a pallet full sitting in their warehouse? Magic? ) and I was able to order it there with delivery tomorrow.I'm Dutch. Can't find it online at Bol.com ( our biggest online retailer ), nor at Mediamarkt or any number of other sites ( based in NL ). There's still places where I saw a Switch itself or two for sale, but Zelda is sold out everywhere. So I don't know about the Switch itself, but I can say with reasonable certainty that the launch shipment for Zelda Switch was not sufficient for launch.
Local stores have nothing Switch. No Switch, no games, no accessories, no shelf space reserved for anything Switch. It's as if the Switch hasn't launched yet.Yeaaaahhhh not gonna fill up my storage day one.Heh.![]()
When will the Pro Controller get restocked? I have a Best Buy gift card with its name on it.
Have you tried in store? One of the few things Target had in stock today was pro controllers.
Yeah just went to a Target and although I couldn't find a console they had some pro controllers. He told me to buy it now because it's going fast. (Sadly for Nintendo the ship has sailed, I'll spend my money somewhere else)
Not at any store in my city. Most cities an hour away and farther have stock, though. I'm tempted to make a road trip because playing with my Joy Cons is torture. If I don't play leaning forward, my inputs become unbearably inconsistent.Have you tried in store? One of the few things Target had in stock today was pro controllers.
Never pay more than 20 bucks for a Video Game.Strolled into a FNAC today, plenty of everything.

So went by Mediamarkt earlier today here in Sweden and was surprised of just how many units they had.

Asked one of the staff and apparently they were not flying of the shelves as he put it.
Is there any area in which Sweden is not a modern paradise?
I know, right? Nintendo Switches in every store, delicious chocolates, beautiful women. Is there any area in which Sweden is not a modern paradise?
Has anyone seen any in or around the Twin Cities area? Most Walmarts around here are showing that they have stock, but some people have said that it's just their system not updating. Literally everywhere else I've checked has shown 0 in stock.
Which Walmart?3 sitting at Walmart in NC. All grey, guess they sold the neon. Serves scalpers right.

The local store here at Kasaoka just got a box full of switches, managed to grab one and Zelda, going to work for a bit and then play with the GF.

Target employee just told me they normally get a week notice for incoming stock but Nintendo products have been arriving in shipments, just amiibo and controllers so far, though.I was at Best Buy picking up BOTW. I decided to ask the manager about Switch stock, hoping to see if anyone cancelled a preorder I could grab for someone on GAF. He said they got one shipment, a few cancellations (which were all snagged pretty quick), and weren't expecting a new shipment until mid April. Take that for what it is, but that's not the first time we've heard that...
It's not their system not updating, it's the fact that those are layaway/pre-orders which Walmart is obligated to hold until April 1st unless the buyer cancels themselves. Basically, the only reason to believe that walmart has stock at this point is if you're watching the values and see them increase from previous, meaning they got new stock in from shipment/returns. Unfortunately I couldn't find any kind of history functionality in brickseek and I'm too lazy to write things down manually. So yeah, there's no evil conspiracy and walmart employees aren't necessarily incompetent or lazy, they just can't sell you stock that has been preordered/layaway'd and they have an absurdly long hold policy.
Edit: The real douchebags in this situation are not walmart employees, they're the people who preordered half a dozen systems and are letting them sit at retailers to see if they become rare enough to go through the effort of flipping. And if you look around GAF/reddit/etc you'll see a huge amount of people openly admitting to doing so in the same threads where everyone else is struggling to find one to purchase.
Even if someone were to sell a grey for 400$ on eBay, I just don't see the reason they go through all that trouble. After taxes from purchasing the system, packaging and eBay fees, they can't make much, maybe 50$. Seems kind of pointless for all the time and trouble.

There's a local person selling "the last 8 neon switch" consoles he has left for $100 over retail. As well as a bunch of pro controllers and joy cons. I sent him a message telling him how big of a shit head he is.
That stuff makes me so incredibly angry. Dude legit went around and bought up stock simply to deny other people the option without paying out the ass.
People are the worst sometimes.
Chat.
They tried to charge me after the inital payment went through. The second charge declined since I didnt authorize it, but they didnt realize I had already paid...
They were just looking at the most recent declined charge.
They guaranteed me it is shipping today, but it was originally supposed to arrive today...
*Bangs keyboard*
The chat people keep ending our conversations too... I just want to get refunded my shipping since I paid for expedited delivery.
That happened for awhile for me too, the next step is the tracking info

Quick question: if one were to buy a bundle, would it be possible to do a return on any unwanted items? I know it's a stretch.
I think that would vary from one retailer to the next and you'd definitely want to ask before you made any decisions

So mine is saying "It sent today" - still no tracking information though.
Still trying to get my shipping refunded since ordering expedited shipping is pointless if it takes days to actually ship...
How long do you all speculate it will take for the retail stock situation to not be a serious issue? I highly doubt it'll be as bad as the Wii. I got one on launch day and by the time I got rid of it (in April 2008) people were still willing to spend over its initial retail price for it on Amazon and eBay.
I think I had the 'It sent today' message for at least 6-12 hours before I got an update with the actual tracking number etc - I'd bet it will update overnight tonight. Once you get the UPS tracking number you'll get actual tracking updates live, the amazon notifications are always slow/behind for me even with US purchases.
A week on and it is still in stock in Australia, Nintendo have said the console is their strongest launch in A/NZ so I guess they just overshipped to us.
