Just saw some at a local Target in Illinois in Waukegan. They had 4 neon ones, but no grey. Is grey units in more demand than neon?

Wait...I thought Target would re stock Switches on Sunday because of the Sunday ADS.
Yiiiiis
I like you.I did it.
So if I search for "Nintendo Switch" on Target's website, and nothing but games comes up, that means they don't have the Switch stocked like all these other places apparently do? And I shouldn't bother driving?
I called them SIX TIMES in a row and they disconnect on me every time. I think they're having technical issues.
Ok good. Just hoping Bay area has a bunch Saturday night/Sunday morning, gonna go looking for a grey set of joycons if I can't get a a grey switch.

Just got paid but it won't go through until tomorrow, so I'm stuck waiting. Just hoping the ad is true, cause it means they'll have more on Sunday, and I work next to one and get off right before they open.I dunno man, I would try to pick one up today. It seems like a lot of Targets got them today and will probably sell out before closing.
Not sure if you'll see this but which Walmart?
Surprised to see plenty in stock at the Peterson Target in Chicago.
Is this Target thing nationwide? I've got a Target sorta close by, but in a relatively small town and kinda far from the major cities... I'll wake up early and go if every Target is participating, but if it's only certain stores I would not want to waste my Sunday morning.
I stopped into a Target this morning in a major city and they were completely out.
Switch is in Target's nationwide ad this Sunday. They always hold back stock of in-demand electronics products for these ads. So, if you see Switch units at your local Target today, that store likely failed to do this. Those stores are going to have angry customers this weekend. Unless, of course, these stores got a ton of units and got authorization to put some out early. But that's unlikely.
Amazon.de has the neon Switch in stock right now: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B01N5OPMJW/

How rare/hard to find do you think the yellow joy cons will be to find when arms come out next Friday
That old guy is an asshole, holy shit.I just went to Walmart and...

They had 5 in stock. Some old guy was already at the case and bought 4 of them and I got the last one.

I thought the limit was one per customer?
Not for this scalper, apparently.
When should one show up at Target on Sunday? At store opening time? 30 mins early?

I'd call your local store first and make sure they're going to have stock tomorrow morning. If it were me, I'd show up at least an hour early.
If that limit isn't built into their point-of-sale system, it's quite easy to sell multiple units to a customer. Heck, it's easy to bypass that even if it is. Just initiate five separate transactions. The employee was either ignorant of the one-unit-per-customer policy (if such a policy exists) or they just didn't care.

Another associate told him she thought it was a bad idea to sell all of them like that because they'd been getting calls from people looking for them but he just ignored her.
