Finished some courses. Played some Left 4 Dead 2. Worked up to two fingers. Laughed heartily at the slightest things and smiled a lot.

Twas a pleasant weekend :)

but other then that, just recovering from my surgery, :/ it's fucking boring and sucks not being able to go out and play sports for about 2 months

The part about how one of my friends in this town constantly cheats on his girlfriend, including with hookers? Yeah, I really wish he wouldn't do that. His girlfriend is really nice too. Like I said, he's a borderline nympho.

You referenced, nay, essentially re-created main discussion points of that locked thread in every way possible. A night out thread, including "weird", including "linger". Neogaf calls out attention whores. Period. We didn't forget our opinions we held in that thread and they are carrying over. Interesting thread, thanks for asking about what we did too though. Very considerate of you.

My girl was on her rag so I just got some head a few times. Ate some mexican food. Played some Uncharted 2 and some SMG2. Got pulled over, cop thought I was drunk, was just looking for a friend's car. No ticket. All in all, pretty wild and crazy weekend. I didn't nut on any hooker's face or anything, but it was wild for what it was. Hope everyone found my weekend interesting.

The thing that gets me is how passionately they support their national teams/athletes here in Korea. It's not even remotely like that back in US.

One of my best memories ever was when Korea won the gold medal in baseball in the 08 Olympics. I was out at a bar when they got the final out against Cuba, and the place just went insane. This 45 year old man in a business suit was sitting next to me at the bar, and he just started openly weeping with joy and buying tequila rounds for everyone in close proximity. He wasn't the only one I saw crying. It was pretty powerful, actually. The reaction was similar when Kim Yu-na had her record-setting performance in the Winter Olympics this year. They're so damn patriotic here, it's amazing. Sure, it causes problems, like insularity, jingoism, etc, but there is something to be admired about it all the same.

Forgot to say: playing SMT Strange Journey. God, the music is really awesome (Battle, Boss)

Got addicted to Marks & Spencer's Cloudy Lemonade. Also, discovered a great Lebanese restaurant called Zahr El Laymoon (translates to Lemon's Tree/Plant/Flower). Went there twice so far, and the food is superb.

I also discovered this amazing drinking game. It's called Two Truths and a Lie. You make three statements about yourself, two of them true and one of them a lie. Then everyone else has to guess which one is false. Whoever gets it wrong drinks.

You drink a lot, and you also learn a lot of interesting things about the people you're with.

I was in the biggest stadium in France to see Kasabian and Muse in live.

When I got home, my mom cleaned up all my appartement during the time I was at the show.

Then in the morning, she get up really early, and buy the food and the breakfust at the local starbucks and bring it home.

I'm spoild by my mother :( but that was an awesome week end :lol

Fucking rock on. I've seen Muse three times, amazing show each time. They're headlining a festival here in Korea in August, and I think they're also doing one in Japan. I'm going to one or the other for sure.

could you possibly be confusing North and South Korea? I sure hope not.

This weekend I hiked up Diamond Head and watched lots of World Cup matches and played FarCry 2 and Team Fortress 2 with some GAFers

Itaewon is nuts, dude. I felt like I was in Mos Eisley at times. Seediest party town I've been to, though Bangkok probably beats it by virtue of hard drugs being available there.

I've had plenty of nights out in plenty of places around the world. This was just the most random, bizarre weekend I can remember.
