So, nobody told me I'm a snake guy (PoP 2)

Someone please explain this to me. It's bad enough PoP2's storyline is jilted and sparse at best, but I turn it on the other day after taking a few days off from it, and in the game I had just gone into the past (in order to... repair the flux capacitor or something). I was still the Prince then. I turn on the game today, and I'm this Raziel-esque character with glowing eyeys and what appear to be snakes all over my body. There was absolutely no explanation for this, I was in the past before as prince, the only thing I can even reall is right before fighting dominatrix lady and saving that damsel, I saw the character above in the corridors run by in a cut scene. At least I think it was him.

I'm maybe 3 hours in. Does anybody know what the hell I'm talking about, or why Ubisoft decided that silly things like "plotlines" don't need to be implimented into final products?

lol. It seems there is some big bug in your copy.
you do turn into that guy, but later on in the game, its part of the story

Wow, that's quite the glitch. I've had the music quit out on me when I was playing and had the game lock up during a loading screen but nothing like that.

I played the demo.

I cried.

If you are talking about getting seriously owned by that chick, all you have to do is jump over her and slash twice. It's lame but it works.

Come to think of it, that's another thing, I have pretty much infinite powers. Thought I'd add that.

I understand the story somewhat, from what I've played (I made it to the final boss before giving up -- hello second ending requirements!)...

...
the Sand Wraith has unlimited Sand powers, as they gradually recharge (useful if you keep falling at a certain trap and whatnot), but you lose health in exchange (it stops at a certain point).

The game is awesome, actually, but it is anything but polished. The game itself has been mostly perfect for me, but the sound engine is a total mess and barely works (particularly in regards to music usage). The game totally needed more time in the shop.

Still, the game rocks and is quite beautiful to behold.

As mentioned, the issue mentioned above is a glitch in the game. I have not encountered it, but I did hear about it before. Very strange...

Sands of Time over Warrior Within anyday.

On a more related note, this game sounds so damn buggy that it stretches the limits even for a rushed EA title..

It's starting, EA gained control over Ubisoft.... 20% man! 20%!!!!! The world will end!!!

Anyway, my girl got this game as a gift from her cousin, and she keeps enjoying it. When she finishes it, I'm gonna sit down and start it up myself. Of course, it will be a while. She rarely has time to play because of stupid school projects, but I can wait. :)

I dunno, I think the level design, pacing, and general gameplay of Warrior Within beats out SoT. However, the "baditude" and lack of polish really do hurt the experience a bit.

I have that same problem! When I came back to the game the next day, I was thinking "WTF? What made me turn into this? Did I miss a huge cutscene or something?"

:lol Stupid glitches. Especially in this game.

Same here! I thought I slept through an important cutscene or something, :D

I turned also in that thing and a cut scene with the Dahaka didnt come ( which you need to go further ) so i must restart the game from the beginning. Never played it again .
