kinda embarrassing? idk

it's all i could think of from the town i grew up in.

This is NOTHING to be ashamed of. On the contrary.

From a recently closed and ill-advised stealth brag MILF thread, this horrifying nugget floated to the surface.

Yep, a disgusting concoction designed for risk averse xenophobic food babies in Massachusetts.

Seattle kinda has a hot dog with cream cheese and a lot of Greek pizza and bad teriyaki, but what's the embarrassing local specialty from your town?

You know Stinkles. I read that and was like Chow Main Sandwich?? The second I saw the thread title I knew where it was coming from.

This girl I'm dating made me tator tot casserole for dinner one night. First time I've ever had it.

She's a keeper.

I'd put canned spaghetti and meatballs in a folded piece of white bread as a kid. That shit was good. That's as close as I get to this.

My mom used to make Yakisoba sandwiches all the time. I think they are pretty common in Japan, actually. Chow Mein sandwich is just a Chinese variant of that, so I'm not surprised it exists.

Oddly 'ミルクコーヒー' / milk coffee aka coffee flavored milk is also a Japanese thing.
