Astros did what they did and were caught and punished. May not be as harsh as what people wanted but it happened. Kelly was a bitch to throw at people's head especially considering he never has to bat. You can be unhappy without trying to hurt players.

Suspensions on both sides most likely. Since the pitcher doesn't have to hit he can just act like a pussy without fear of personal repercussion. I don't mind batters being hit it's an unwritten rule of payback on the diamond. But there's no place in the game for throwing at a batters head.

Hitting batters in Baseball in retaliation for a variety of things is as old as Baseball itself. MLB made a statement with the suspension of the pitcher that it won't be tolerated either way. People expected the Astros to be pummeled all year for what they did and so that it doesn't get out of hand MLB went heavy handed on the suspension. Again if you're pissed off about what Houston did I completely get it. I expect our batters to be hit in retaliation but on a 3-0 count throwing at someone's head it was obviously intentional and attempting to injure players by throwing at their head is unacceptable. MLB apparently agrees.

You see, every baseball player makes millions upon millions of dollars and is completely unaffected by cheating, even the ones who pitched against the Astros, got lit up because they were cheating, and never pitched in the big leagues again. There's multiple things that could injure a player every time they step on the field, that doesn't change the fact that he wasn't nearly killed like you're been trying to suggest.
