I listened to the first one and found it entertaining enough from a white guy perspective. I can't listen to episode two because I haven't seen Django Unchained yet, but keep it up!

Episode 1 was great even with tech probs, so if the second is even better I can't wait to hear it.

I'll start - can I touch your hair?

I dug the first episode. The police story in the apartment complex is infuriating. I remember in my crim pro police class in law school every single black person in the room had a egregiously harassed by the cops story.

Slay just mad that my powerful black voice resonates through his soul. Don't let it shake you, homie.

I'm not a regular in the black culture thread but I'd certainly make myself available to join a podcast if you'd have me. I bring the suburban smart brother angle with a voice that's made for radio.

If you do an episode about "acting black" please get me on.

Cool, I'll try to listen. Why is it called "So Well Spoken" though? I mean, it's a cool title, but is there some sort of significance to it?

A common backhanded compliment told to minorities when they stereotype you as thugs, ese, immigrant or just ignorant but you speak like a normal person. Otherwise known as talking "white"

Liked the first one but I think I may have to skip episode 2 depending on whether or not I end up seeing Django Unchained this weekend. Keep it up guys!

It's a backhanded compliment, but it's also a flat out racist comment, basically saying that all other black people can't speak worth shit, but this guy -- this guy's one of the good ones.

Ah, okay, thanks for explaining!

Sounds neat. I'll be checking it out.

Definitely love the idea of crossovers with different communities on Gaf.
