Mmmm... Pepsi in glass bottles...

Why aren't there more of them? And why did I get three different kinds at the gas station today?

Because corporations are cheap greedy bastards.

It's the same reason that they got rid of cane sugar and replaced it with that shitty corn syrup.

I'm lucky that my local Stop And Shop gets in one case of glass cokes a week. Jesus that shit tastes good, and you can shoot at them!

Actually, that was because of a cane sugar shortage in the US during WWII, I believe, and they just never switched back to cane sugar. This affected almost every soda producer.

*drinks his cane sugar sweetened Coca Cola*

Oh yeah, we never had that shortage up here :D

Nah, it actually happened in the late 70s/early 80s. They went 50/50, then all syrup.

Fuck you and your cane sugar, I brought several cases of Coke back with me from Niagara. :)

Now I either have to pay to get it shipped (at $3.00 a bottle...) or wait till Passover and buy every fucking bottle in sight. If the real Jews aren't faster than me, too bad.

That's why Dr. Pepper rocks hard up here.

Canada and Mexico that I'm aware of. Maybe Europe, though I'm not sure.

Otherwise you must wait until Passover here in the states.

I don't know why you guys don't use cane sugar, you can get plenty of it from Cuba.

Don't even get me started on that one.

I'm sure American pop doesn't taste that much worse...

You'd be surprised.

The Dr P with cane is probably Mexican. Importing of Mexican sodas has been going on for around 20 years, since the time of the switch and is incredibly popular down there. The corporate soda distributors get pissed, but there's really not much they can do about it.
