A rather strange development has started occuring in my 'workplace'
About a month ago I was booked for a gig featuring a guy call MJ Hibbert,I thought nothing of it other than yet another nameless faceless artist among many that I end up working with once and forgetting forever....
Then he played his set, and about half-way through said something along the lines of
"OK - I guess it's time to play the track you all know me for" - Huh? Know him? OK The venue *is* full, but I've never heard of the guy, what am I missing here?
Then he starts, and OMFGWTFBBQ :!
Turns out he's Mr. Hey Hey 16k.
Ok I can dig that, ended up a good gig & all and I allowed myself a slight smile at getting to do the sound for an Internet legend, and thought nothing more of it.
Then on Monday I was at a birthday party, when one of the guys who runs on of the PA companies I freelance to told me I was going to be needed again, for a gig for the guys behind...
