Seriously? It's not that it wasn't good, but the last quarter or so is enough to keep it far out of "movie of the year" territory for me.

it's a contender for movie of the year for me but i haven't seen the aviator yet. jamie foxx totally deserves his golden globe nomination for his role, i thought his character was a lot more interesting than tom cruise's.

I never got a chance to see this in the theatre, but I heard so many great things about it. I just know I'll enjoy it, so I'm going to take a risk and just buy it on Friday. Possibly along with Kill Bill Volume 2.

Awesome, I was praying it wasn't $29.99 like IGN DVD suggested. I mind as well pick up Man on Fire, Minority Report, and Fight Club as well. Been meaning to get those for awhile. I still have the copy of America Beauty that I "stole" from Netflicks, so no need for that one. Technically I purchased it, they charged me when I didn't return it. :lol

Miami Vice with Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx.

Or maybe Arms and the Man, but there haven't been updates on that in a while to my knowledge, whereas Miami Vice has a cast and the greenlight.

Just rented it. Awesome, awesome movie. Really loved the pacing and tension throughout the film.
