Some questions about Night Trap.

I'm looking to get it, and I saw alot on ebay, however there seem to be acouple different versions. One uncensored and censored for the Sega CD, and a CD32X one. So, what is the best? And is it worth it to get the uncensored version? BTW, are there any ones that come in cases like Saturn and other SCD cases, or were they all in boxes?

Just a warning.... This game stands next to ET (atari 2600) as one of the worst games every made. If you are interested in seeing the video I am sure the video has been ripped in its entirety and is somewhere on the web. If you have to buy a version for you collection, pick up the original sega cd version in the paper box.

Best of luck.

all non pack-in sega cd games came in the large cases like Saturn and early PSX games in the US.

yeah, dont be fooled by the history of the game, it is a real stinker. Oh the days of "multimedia" gaming.

I could be wrong on this, but I think the "uncensored" one was just a marketing ploy, since it was released after the big gaming violence hearing. The one in the cardboard box with the red border is the same game as the one that says "uncensored" on the box.

The 32X one is better (if you have a 32X), simply because the video is higher quality.

Night Trap is worth owning just to see the awsomness of the Night Trap theme song.
if the video hasn't been ripped, as is suggested above, it's a crime. because also as suggested above, the game is total shit.

hilarious and fun shit with dana plato, but ... shit.

Not true... The early games came in cardboard boxes. The night trap one was red.
