I don't think S4 Eps I and II are the trainwrecks they're often made out to be, but they are somewhat underwhelming. I in particular is pretty shockingly amateurish as far as visuals and physics go.

Thank you ! I've had a blast writing these and more are on the way, though Sonic only has four left. Might cover a few fan-games and other related games (like Freedom Planet) as 'extra' games for the retrospective once I cover Sonic Generations .

Episode I is really damn weak and it was kinda hard finding good things to say about it for the OP :l.

Episode II is a much, much better title that might as well Sonic 4 as a whole with how much better it is over Episode I.

I love Sonic 4. In my honest opinion, the Sonic 4 Saga as a whole is superior than the Sonic 3 Saga

White Park is amazing, Egg Ventricle is epic, Casino Street is fun, and Sonic has green eyes.

Fun fact: this Saga was the FIRST thing I launched on my iPhone SE.

I don't mean to be brash, but can you explain why you feel this?

I like Episode II a lot .......but Episode I is such a weak game honestly . I would really appreciate if you could share your thoughts on this if possible .

Happy you enjoyed the games, as Episode II is what I consider to be a good/great game .

There's no need to even listen/read whatever Huelen says/digits. It's a waste of time.

Two people to never listen opinions about Sonic games in GAF: Huelen10 (Sonic 4 is better than 3 & Knuckles) and Anthony (Sonic 2006 is a good game and Colors is shit).
