I've sat on it, and here's my current slate of predictions. My aim was for something both realistic yet epic enough to be considered a "Year of Dreams 2.0" conference.
- Classic PlayStation montage showcasing recently released and plenty of upcoming games. Voice-over begins to talk about PlayStation's history and past...
- Crash shows up on screen and says something akin to, "Did you miss me?" And then we see a quick trailer for a new Crash Bandicoot game developed by Mark Cerny's small group at Studio Japan, coming to PS4 in October
- Shawn Layden takes the stage to host the event and says a few sly words about the new Crash game. He's wearing a Sony Santa Monica shirt with Kratos on it (Wore this around the PSX show floor). Let's continue with amazing games coming from Sony Worldwide Studios, starting with a game many of us have been eager to see
- Sony Bend's logo appears on screen and Eric Jensen takes the stage to introduce Dead Don't Ride. They show a trailer followed by gameplay footage much like they did with Horizon last year. Coming to PS4 in 2017
- Fumito Ueda takes the stage with a translator and says he's thrilled that we will finally get to play his emotional new adventure, The Last Guardian. A trailer is shown that includes a release date for September
- A trailer for a new game from PixelOpus (Small Sony studio who did Entwined) called Days Gone is shown. It's another artsy fartsy game that's releasing later in the summer
- Hermen Hulst from Guerrilla takes the stage to present another new, extensive look at Horizon Zero Dawn. We see a gameplay demo that showcases some RPG mechanics from being in a town and gameplay mechanics while battling a new robo-dino. Delayed to early 2017
- Asad Qizilbash takes the stage to lead the PSVR segment. The launch date is confirmed for October and some various games are confirmed for launch including RIGS, PSVR Worlds, Eve Valkyrie, etc.
- Reminds everyone that Gran Turismo Sport and Dreams will both support PSVR when they release. Also announce a beta for Dreams that will begin in August
- A significant new PSVR game is announced with no release date
- Adam Boyes takes the stage to present compelling third party software
- Final Fantasy franchise receives a segment where new trailers/footage of Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy VII Remake and World of Final Fantasy are shown. Final Fantasy XV will be receiving a PS4 bundle which includes a demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare gameplay footage
- A new character trailer for Street Fighter V is shown along with confirmation that a traditional arcade mode is coming. Speaking of Capcom...
- Devil May Cry 5 is announced with a trailer, coming in 2017
- Persona 5 receives a trailer on stage that shows the North American release date,THIS YEAR!!
- Destiny's fall expansion is announced with a trailer... Destiny 2 also receives a teaser trailer
- Shawn Layden returns to the stage and applauds everything we've seen today. But they have one more thing to show us. It's a new take on a legendary PlayStation franchise...
- God of War 4 announced with a trailer and some gameplay footage. Coming in 2017
