Ironically 2019 was probably the last time we got excited for Sony related stuff outside the PS5 pre launch event.

I wish Sony the best in China because I would like more regular games from their devs who currently have insane budgets. But PC and mobile are too entrenched in the asian markets. The customer acquisition costs will be astronomical.

Look at EGS. Giving away legitimately free games for years and moneyhatting exclusives to no avail. The month that Kingdom Hearts got ported to Steam it charted on NPD. Chinese gamers love PC. Good luck getting to them to pay to play online and for cloud saves.
