Sony offers 1 month of PS Plus for just 1 Dollar.

On the PS Plus discount page, Sony released the following description:

For a limited time, we're dropping the price when you subscribe to PlayStation Plus for one month, on any subscription plan.

That means a month of titles, discounts and online games with PlayStation Plus Essential, hundreds of games in the games catalog with PlayStation Plus Extra, or everyone's favorite classics and game trials with PlayStation Plus Deluxe.

It seems that Microsoft's strategy pleased the competitor.

After imitating launch PC games, digital console, service what will be next?

Ps: Mod edit the title for 1 Dollar, please.

Out of topic, what is going with PS+ subscription?
I stopped recurring payments, yet Sony charged me for the 1 year PS+ premium.

Is there a bug with the sub that doesn't register your recurring plan?

Why are you asking here instead of contacting support?

Sony wants some nicer numbers for the FY results in the service side (I think it's still going to be good numbers in general but getting that ps plus growing in terms of users would be a nice bonus)

I was playing games on PC for weeks, now its time for some ConsoLE. I just grabbed one month. Gonna check it out the Mafia Remastered. :messenger_relieved:

Any good deals exclusive to subscribers?
Also, it is really annoying. Some games show as "you purchased it" while in fact I have not and now there is no option to purchase :p
PSN layout is so bad

I’m on these gaming forums daily and I still have no idea what PS Plus has to offer.
It’s like Game Pass with a greater focus on Japanese games. I subbed to PS Plus for the first time last weekend and I’d argue the library of games is way better than what’s on Game Pass. Obviously ymmv depending on your tastes.

£1 €1 for Essential
£3 €3 for Extra
£5 €5 for Premium

Any good games on at the moment? Never got around to Returnal last time.

They have it for Spain too. Time limited offer, this weekend only:
  • For new users and users without PS Plus active sub: 1€ (Essential), 3€ (Extra), 5€ (Premium)
  • For users with active PS Plus sub: 35% discount if you upgrade to Extra or Premium

This offer doesn't seem to be available in the US.
I'm reading from various sources that it will go live in North America later, if it hasn't already (some said yesterday, others are saying some time this weekend). Some NA users are reporting the deal went live through the PSN app, but I just checked myself and it's not there. Hopefully they will announce it today. I've been wanting to play some games on the Extra subscription, so this would be great if the rumor is true. But as of now, it seems it's just a rumor. Would be odd for them to stick it to NA like that though, no?

Just in time for me. I’ll be buying the Deluxe editions of RE4 and FF4 remaster. Might as well buy like a month of plus with leftovers from the gift card.

Well, PS Plus standard offer online play and a 3 random games monthly that you mostly have played before and average at best.
Medium tier is a poor man’s Gamepass but with a limited selection of mostly PS4 games and a handful of PS5 games.
Highest tier is Medium tier + a very lame selection of PS1,PS2 and streamable PS3 games because is Sony is incompetent and business greedy to have a proper software solution like MS.

As for what tier to go with the obvious answer is the medium tier for 3 or so month so you can play the selection of the games you care about then drop it for a couple of months until it include games that are worth it to sub again.

You only care about online? Then go with the standard tier.

Avoid the highest tier at all costs.

Such an unbiased outlook. You wouldn't happen to work at Kotaku or Polygon, would you?
