Gaas games are not for me and thats why for the first time in 30 years i no longer have a Playstation console.17 of the top 20 PS5 games every month are GAAS.

Nobody even knows wtf this is and already people are complaining about a new game coming from another outside studio? This is the only thing we know:

Imagine if people said no thanks to the original Halo, Split fiction, left 4 dead, Deep Rock Galactic, or Helldivers 2 simply because they heard the word "Coop". How about just wait and see what it is?
I guess PS are better off spending their money buying yachts and yacht companies. People seem to prefer that over spending it on more games.

Will wait until some actual gameplay is shown before forming an opinion on the game itself. However, after the failures of Evolve and especially RedFall, selling a 4-player co-op shooter will be a very tough gig.
Even if you've got a L4D vet involved because IIRC, Evolve had L4D vets too and look what happened there :/

That's fine, support whomever you want. Your original post asking, "why cant Sony move past gass games ?" is still very curious since it's obvious. The most played games on PlayStation are live service games, by a MASSIVE amount. Sony wants some of those games to be ones that they make and they want additional revenue from third party platforms as that provides their business with health and stability via recurring revenue streams. It gives them the resources to invest in projects and initiatives that they otherwise might not have chosen to invest in because they have more funding available to them.
So Sony are giving millions of gamers, both on and off their platform, what they want and they're being rewarded for it with dumptrucks full of cash. That is why they can't "move past gass games"
Helldivers 2 is a 4 player co-op shooter and has been a monstrous success for PlayStation
