Spider-Man doesn't even have a name. It's not coming out next year.
God of War is the official title, unless I missed somethingGod of War PS4 still doesn't even have an official name, and it's currently playable start-to-finish. That's a silly argument lol.
They would need to capitalize on the movie's Summer 2017 release or the Blu-ray release in Nov-Dec 2017 (likely). So I think it's going to be one of those for Spider-Man.

Apologies for the late response:You run the risk of sales drop if your game has no hype/not generating excitement.
Two success stories this holiday season are BF1 and Pokemon, both games that from the market offset, has been successful at generating a lot of interest and excitement around the product.

Oh, I know how development can work, and that a bigger team doesn't necessarily mean a quicker development process, but I fail to see why one would imagine it being a 2018 title. They could start sharing media with the press next Spring already, have the game playable at E3 and release it during the Holiday season or Fall.Again, weak logic. Videogame development is a creative process, more people != short development time, especially since it's going to be Insomniac's biggest and most ambitious game to date.

When it comes down to it all, there's nothing pointing to a 2018 release, while there's nothing pointing toward a 2017 release either. We can only guess at this point.
Those first reasons you mention there are silly too. Just because you don't wanna be disappointed doesn't make it more likely to hit 2018. And them not showing anything during PSX is no indication at all. They could choose to do a media reveal at any time. I just don't think you make much sense. You say this but then earlier in your very same post you say things like "I fail to see why one would imagine it being a 2018 title" and gave pretty silly reasons why you thought it was a 2017 game.
If I really must post my reasons why I think it's a mid 2018 release, it's because:
a) I'd rather overshoot a release date than get disappointed if it does come out later,
b) They didn't show anything at PSX, which indicates to me that it's a bit further away and
c) Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be fucking enormous in late 2017 and Sony's going to do everything they can to tie that game to PS4.

When do you think it will come out?Or a logo. Game is a ways off.
i wonder if Sony will expand the Guerilla Games Studio if Horizon turns out to be a major sucess.
RPG Games take a lot of time and im not sure they would wan't to wait another 5-6 Years for a Sequel
When do you think it will come out?
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was announced as just "Uncharted." I am confident that God of War will get a full title next E3.Yes it does, its just God Of War
It would also help that they would have the foundation in place for the sequel. The sequel won't take as long as the first game because of how much is established from making the first one.i wonder if Sony will expand the Guerilla Games Studio if Horizon turns out to be a major sucess.

My predictions for announced games
June 2017: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
August 2017: Knack 2
September 2017: Gran Turismo Sport
December 2017: Dreams
March 2018: God of War
May 2018: Days Gone
November 2018: The Last of Us part II
February 2019: Spider-Man
September 2019: Death Stranding
I don't think they will, it is essentially a reboot.
You can't post an image like that SP, now I want a new Sly Cooper from youse guys.
Or an inFamous 3 starring Lucy Kuo in the main role, either is good.

Might be just me and a few others but i like to see what the tlou mp team can do with socom. It felt socom-esque for me and many of friends. If not they can just hand it to bluepoint so they can garner interestSo we do we have a studio on here that we could hand socom too yet?
Continuing the trend above, this is my guess to the release windows:
2017 Q2: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, MLB
2017 Q3: Spider-Man
2017 Q4: Detroit: Become Human, Gran Turismo Sport, Knack 2
2018 Q1: God of War, Dreams
2018 Q2: Bloodborne 2/New Souls IP, MLB, Ratchet 2
2018 Q3: Days Gone
2018 Q4: Sucker Punch New IP
2019 Q1: Sucker Punch Expansion, Tearaway 2
2019 Q2: The Last of Us part II, MLB

This is in game?
Also, why are you not excited for Show retro mode? Did anyone play it at PSX? Would like hear some impressions.
Heh, it's an homage to a Christmas Carol painting... Don't read too much into it.Wow, Sly is so small. I never considered them to be genuine animal sized. Does that make their building really small too? I always just imagined they were human sized but obviously animal people. Mind blown.
Horizon would've gone into full production after Shadow Fall shipped in late 2013, so that's just over three years. Though yeah, there'll be another 2-3 years of pre-production too.
Guerrilla's next game should be from the Shadow Fall pre-production team, so it'll be a while before we get a Horizon 2. That's a good thing IMO, I wasn't a big fan of how they seemed to rush Killzone 3, they need more time to figure out what worked and what didn't.
Yep, the game's called Real Life:

I'll be getting that early January. Hope you like it!Speaking of first party, I'm about to hop in to The Last Guardian.

oh totally forgot that there is also Steven Ter Heide at GG. Yeah he could be taking over the next project. So if GG goes the 2Teams/2Projects Way there is even more reasons to believe that the studio will get bigger over the years.
They just moved the release date for Horizon Zero Dawn up in the EU, so I'd be surprised if after that, they end up delaying the game.
I fully expect Detroit to release in 2017. It was revealed in 2015 and showed off quite a bit at this year's E3. At the very least, I doubt the game releases three years after its reveal in September 2018 when many of the big Sony games (Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ratchet & Clank, Infamous: Second Son, Knack, Killzone Shadow Fall, Bloodborne, The Order: 1886) came out within 1 or 2.
