Hey, usually I woudnt post this here, but seeing how some people here work for the gamestores (heck, I worked for Gamecrazy) I might get an actual answer.

I just pre-ordered a PSP from Gamestop. Yeah, I know I can find them other places...but this will help me out collecting the extra money for when it arrives. But Gamestops whole pre-order thing for the PSP's seem shady. They actually had extras there but they weren't allowed to sell them sor a strange reason (Non-preorder ones too). But anyway I was wondering if someone could maybe find out or know when the 3rd shipment is due, seeing how thats what it says on my receipt and when I asked they really had no clue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe they're keeping some extras on hand in the case of people returning defective units? It's a possibility..

I think a lot of things depend on location. You can to a lot of southern towns right now in the United States at Wal Marts and find a ton. At mine I saw 8 today just sitting there. Not a very big town either. Now I'm sure even here at the EBGames it's selling good.

That's not bad considering the smaller Walmarts received 60 units at launch and the numbers scale up from there for bigger stores (Super Centers, how much sales volume a store does, etc.).

I was out today and I checked out the situation a bit. Best Buy had none, target and wal mart were pretty well stocked. BJ's Wholesale (a Sam's Club/Price Club kind of place) had them, but they didn't include Spiderman. Could that be just because it's a wholesale place? Or is it a new batch?

Only the first million include Spiderman 2. Could be a new batch.

Yeah, the first million shipped with Spider Man 2, if there are boxes without it floating about, that would indicate that they've already been through the initial million, no? Maybe not, but at least that there's been a second shipment already.

yeah, the first 2 shipments were sent to game stores BEFORE launch, the 3rd shipment is the next shipment.

i really wish people wouldnt sya 3rd shipment, no ones gonna preorder if you say that. just say "NEXT SHIPMENT!"
