Sony's E3 2014 - What are we all expecting?

Tbh I think now that Project Beast got leaked there won't be much we didn't know already (and we even knew about this before because of some insiders).
There is so much stuff that we already know about and will still take majority of the time.

- The Order
- Uncharted
- DriveClub (hopefully they'll show enough stuff before E3, so they'll only mention it on their press conference and don't show gameplay again)
- Indie stuff
- Destiny
- Batman/AC
- Project Beast
- MM new IP
- GG new IP [?] (we don't really know anything about it but we knew they're working on it for some years, so it won't be surprising)

Maybe: TLG + FF XV (I don't expect KH III)

Stuff that is useless to show on a press conference and will probably still waste time: PS Now/Sales/Features and also Morpheus (if they show gameplay for Morpheus I hope only for MMs new IP)

Also some stuff for PS3/Vita.

Of course that'd be a good show, but nothing surprising or any bombs.

I just hope for at least one great PS4 game we never heared before, because these are the things that excite me at E3.

This time it could really be the case that MS will "kill" Sony at E3. And no, I don't mean anything that will change the sales of PS4. But I have the feeling their press conference will be considered as the better show among the most people. Especially since they have much more time to show new stuff for XB1 than Sony has for the PS4 and they already said games will be the focus again.

For me this will be the most important E3 for the rest of the generation and that's why I would just love to see some stuff again that will get me really excited.

i kinda want kevin buttler back as the VP of E3 or something like that (promoted now that his boss treton is gone). dude got me hyped about sony/gaming in general with a speech that was basically about casual move games for christ's sake.
 
The only thing I am worried about is that with the recent news of Beyond: Two Souls as a PS4 port, that many of their major studios are just working on PS3 Ports and are not ready to show any new PS4 AAA titles.

Only TLoU is confirmed to being ported by a team from a major studio. I wouldn't expect Sony to squander resources porting everything like that.

wut. There's a bunch of games that were announced last year (The Order, GG Xrd, Lily Bergamo, Deep Down, Rime, Uncharted, Gravity Rush 2, etc), they trademarked 4 new IPs in the last 3 weeks, TLG is still alive, Project Beast got leaked, and a bunch of their 1st party studios haven't announced what they're working on.

Do you guys really think there's going to be nothing?

They just put the team together, I believe. So I'd say there is a 1% chance that SSM has anything to show. And if they do, there's a 99% chance that it's a new God of War.

Bet MS would give us sales if they were anything to shout about.

We will probably get some stats like Titanfall pilots have made a million jumps of buildings...

There are going to be a lot of angry disappointed people after Sony's E3 (like every year) seeing most of these posts. Keep your expectations in check!

I could be mistaken, but there was a pre-production team (or whatever) working on this new IP that was cancelled and most of those people (including vets like Stig and Hawkins) were laid off. Barlog was hired during this time for what most people assume is a new GoW. Unless there has been a major third team working on a new AAA IP alongside the canceled IP, I'm pretty sure GoW is the only ongoing title. They have like a million other smaller teams that help with indies.

E3 has slowly become the place for publishers to show the projects and information that they know no one cares about, and the occasional title that everyone actually tunes in for (once every 2 years).

Solution:
Watch E3 to laugh at it with GAF.

Don't think Driveclub will have a demo since there will be gameplay footage this week.

Anyways, you also forgot Legend of Dragoon, Wild Arms, Persona 5, Dragon Quest XI, Deep Down, Street Fighter IV: Super UBER Edition, Ni no Kuni 2, Gundam, and lastly, Monster Hunter 4 SD: Everything downgraded to PSOne Edition.

The conference without The Last Guardian is unthinkable, however we all hope to see it at Gamescom again.
I really want dat MM new project, and introduce U4 new Game Director, and Crash Bandicoot and Syphon Filter

It's just wishful thinking such as The Last Guardian.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony announces some PS4 Japanese Games since they can't wait to TGS to spur some sales over there.

Honestly though, they better reveal a bunch of new PS4 software from their first parties.
