do you guys think i could jump in and watch this show from this season or should i just keep going chronologically? i don't know how much continuity matters in this show lol

i'm on season 3 at the moment.. just watched the chinpokemon episode last night :lol

Theres is a little continuity, though. Nothing major, and feel free to jump around whatever, but there is the whole Mr Garrison saga
Mr Hat > Mr Twig > His disappearance > His time as kindergarten teacher > Mr Slave > Him turning into a woman > Him turning back
, which could prove confusing if you happen to watch an episode with Mr Garrison from, say, season 9, then from season 5, then from season 11, etc, etc. But it only effects episodes with Mr Garrison in them anyway. Also the kids go from grade 3 to grade 4, but this really makes no difference.

It should be noted that if your plan is to jump ahead to the very newest episode, then you'll want to go back a couple of weeks, as the last two episodes and this weeks all form a big storyline (to that note its probably a good idea to go back and watch the Coon episode from last season before these 3, too)

God I've loved this season (although I love pretty much every episode of SP). Kenny as Mysterion was great, Cartman joining forces with Cthulu was great. The Lebron commercial parody had me in tears.

"Should I just apologize to my friends and ask them to take me back? Tell them I was being a selfish jerk? What should I do? Should I admit I was wrong? Ask for everyone's forgiveness and go back to my team?

Naw screw that, I'm just going to keep being a fucking dick!"

:lol :lol :lol

...it's South Park people. They've been 9 years old forever. Come on. :lol

OMFG KENNY'S THING EXPLAINS THAT

EVERY TIME HE DIES A NEW UNIVERSE IS FORKED AND IN FACT EVERY EPISODE THAT PLAYS OUT IS THE DAY HE WAKES UP! NOT ONLY IS HE IMMORTAL HE NEVER AGES!
:lol

I'm just joking, if you can't tell. :p

I called it being Kenny when he had that line...
"Because it pisses Cartman off immensely and I find that funny"
I figured it out last week when Kenny was called to the meeting, and everyone but Mysterion could be easily identified, leaving him as the obvious one. It was a nice curveball they threw.

Anyway, here's my guess about the outcome:
Cthulu is the source of Kenny's "curse". Cthulu being sent back to his dimension involves Kenny's sacrifice, the "curse" is canceled, Kenny is dead for good. (Until they feel like bringing hm back again, of course.)

Coon vs. Coon and Friends

Coon and Friends find themselves at the mercy of Cartman who now has the dark lord, Cthulhu, doing his bidding. Kenny wrestles with the curse of his super power through his alter ego, Mysterion.

I sure hope this isn't a 4 parter :lol
Aside from wanting to know how they're going to end this story, I wish it were a 20 parter. This has been some of the best South Park in a few seasons.

This season of South Park is not as good as season 13. I really feel like the censorship that happened with episode 200/201 ruined this season after it started off really strong. Ending the season by revisiting the Coon/Mysterion is the only way to salvage what Comedy Central ruined. Matt and Trey might not care anymore.

Kenny's such a badass interesting character. I wish that they'd stop having him being that "silent poor kid" who's just there and keep him like this.

Was perfectly in sync with the windows phone commercial :lol

The commercials are just terrible. Microsoft should really take some lessons from Apple and RIM.

They're just texting the whole time (or seemingly).
