I didn't like this sp episode, I only laughed a bit at the "slapstick" stuff. Oh and I think Nascar is probably the most boring race ever.

Heh, yeah I don't get why it has that status either. Tho at least the Mcfarlene shows insult it in a way that has some thought put into it. This one was just insulting for the hell of it. I liked the faces of charlie and allan at least

The cars are ridiculously hard to drive in real life. Too much horsepower and not enough traction/downforce. It's always been about the drivers manhandling the cars. Though right now the current template for the cars sucks, except for how safe they are. I think they are working on getting to look more like street models, like the new Challenger:

Anyway, I recorded this last night and am going to check it out when I get home from work. I'm an avid NASCAR fan, but I fall outside of the group of people this episode will probably make fun of. As a fan who doesn't really have any friends who watch it I have heard pretty much every joke there is about NASCAR, so I'm sure I'll be more offended at their ignorance of the sport than by the jokes themselves, lol.

But the episode didn't really portray NASCAR drivers or fans as stupid. It was more of a parody of the popular perception of NASCAR.

Not that I'm defending NASCAR. I despise it.

You can't really call guy being raped by a shark an ambitious humour :lol

I didn't like it. Most good episodes of South Park either have some apt, scathing satiric commentary, or else are just wacky good fun (like the Looney Tunes parody last season). This episode had neither of those qualities. Maybe it's just because I don't care for Nascar at all; I don't know.

Butters doing everything for no reason at all was brilliant
