South Park: Season 27 Teaser

Charlie Kirk and staff show the best way to respond to satire. I didn't watch the full video, but I did watch the three clips from the show and his reactions.

If you skip to the ending, he's actually going to be wearing and selling "master debater" shirts for his upcoming college tour.

Even back in it's heyday, I couldn't stand South Park. It's the dirt cheap animation, the ass art style, the dedication to their fictional universe which essentially loads of inside joke on top of inside joke, making it feel like watching the entire series is necessary, before realizing it's all in the name of understanding the deep lore behind "TREE FIDDY," and "TIMMY,"

Like...I get that it has it's hooks and nostalgia and loyal fanbase, but Jesus Christ, the entertainment value is right up there with watching videos of people tilling land in real time.

I don't get it. She's a fairly attractive woman, especially for people working in politics. What's the context here?

Either way, it's lame for her to throw out accusations of sexism here. Vance and Kirk showed the smart way to respond to satire, and it seems Noem and Trump did not.

she had plastic surgery and now looks like a completely different person

so the joke is that it's not her actual face, but something that's just tacked on.
it's a bit of repeat of when they had that Micheal Jackson episode with Blanket, where his face also falls apart.

this kind of work is always sad, women look better in the "before" pics every damn time. Plastic surgery is disgusting, outside of cases where it is reconstructive after an accident or real deformity etc.

Ah, that makes a lot more sense then. Thanks for the explanation.

This episode wasn't remotely funny really. I do, however, want to join ICE now. My nut is pretty damn massive....

It's the difference between embracing aging with dignity and trying to artificially turn back the clock while also making yourself look like a Barbie doll.

I'm not against people choosing to have plastic surgery, but the problem is it becomes addictive for many of these folks. They just can't stop.

I asked Phil Spender how much gamepass was going to be. He said bout TREE FIDDY a month. I then realized it was the loch ness monster. GOD DAMN IT I DON'T GOT NO TREE FIDDY for gamepass. Get outta here with not owning shit. Then he started crying telling me how SUPER SERIAL it was to get gamepass because it was the future. I walked away and hired Mantequilla to build a shed.

Second episode was funny, but they did the same kind of joke as kaitlin jenner and...michael jackson? Fine for newer audiences. Ending was dumb. I hope they got everything out of their system and go for more interesting stuff next

Kind of need to see what the White House fucks up next to get an idea on what episode 3 will be.

they could make a callback to the Persian club owner Xerxes from the Lesbos episode, and reveal that he is in charge of redesigning the white house interior.

with all the tasteless golden ornaments that keep growing in numbers it would fit perfectly 🤣

liked the ICE episode more than the primere episode.
I don't think I get the 'Nuts' thing

nut is a term mostly used in the US I think.
it just means expenses... so, your nut are you monthly expenses.

it's not really a widely used term I think.

and in the episode they use it as a double entendre to mean both monthly expenses and ejaculating...

and I think mainly because nut became to mean ejaculation it's not a term people go to anymore when talking a out operational costs or monthly spendings 🤣

So for some reason amongst gen alpha/tiktokers they're using Nut as slang for money/pay, like how a squirrel collects nuts.

But obviously for Millennials to "Nut" means cumming/blowing your load, so it's a generational difference poking fun at the double slang meaning.

nah, nut is a pretty old term. I have heard it be used at least 15 years ago somewhere... can't quite remember where tho.

edit: had to look it up when it was first used.
the oldest I have found was a quote on wiktionary from 1971, by Hunter S. Thompson:

it's the other way around. nut to mean monthly expenses is almost antiquated, while nut/nutting meaning to have an orgasm is relatively new

Yeah it's a swinging back and forth term, but it seems kids are using it as a reference to money again, which makes it awkward considering how it's used online

oh my god 🤣
now with them wanting to repeal same sex marriage laws, they could also make the characters from the Lesbos bar attack the White House, which has been turned into a new Club Persh, and make another 300 style battle out of it.

and Xerxes, who was revealed in the old episode to be a lesbian woman hiding her identity cuz of Muslim culture, could be a double agent working for them.

there's tons of possibilities here.

and I gotta say, I'd rather be a 12yo that speaks a second, self taught language well enough to the point where I get complimented for it online

About the new season
First ep was very cool, second less so.

Kristy noem killing dogs everytime she is on screen remind me of the low effort dig they sometimes do (like caitlyn jenner always running over people in her car during the "Garrisson 2020" episode). It is useful because it brings important facts about the targeted celeb into mainstream conversation, but at the same time it just stop being funny very fast. Same could be said about the "nut" gimmick, that did not really justify a whole episode imo.

Hope the one from yesterday is more like the first. I'll watch tonight with a bit of tegridy homegrown and of course a towel on the side, so im sure i will at least have a nice time with my buddy towelie.

Watched this week's and it was worth it for them ripping into techbros and their AI obsessed run, the ad for Techridy was spot on with it's wording. The micro dosing joke and Randy ending up in a K-hole got a laugh from me.
