They have. Obama's presidency was based on a lie so that he and McCain could pull an Ocean's 11 heist. (They later added him in on how every black person cant stop watching Tyler Perry movies. And they've also poked fun at his wife in that episode about childhood obesity and honey booboo)

It's insane that South Park still has gas in the tank after 26 seasons. The show deserves so much credit for it's worldview. It understands that we live in an absurd world, that everyone is full of shit, and if you aren't self aware enough to laugh at it, you're probably part of the problem. It's deeply individualistic and anti-tribal and it consistently attacks the idea that anyone has a monopoly on truth and morality.

Making fun of Trump is hardly woke, especially considering the rest of the episode. Trump is just extremely easy to make fun of, Biden is just boring. People love a good Trump impersonation, not so much a Biden one.
I recall not too long ago (yesterday) a lot of people on the right were glazing South Park because Stephen Colbert got cancelled and South Park got a cool 1.5 billion, indicating the obvious end of "woke" TV. Naturally South Park is now back to being the enemy.

Did you read what I said? It's not making fun of Trump that is the problem, it's doing so while not having made a single joke about Joe Biden during his presidency. The show has always made fun of everybody but now it seems it doesn't mock democrats in office. ANd I'm not sure what you're talking about, everybody loves a good Biden mocking cause it's all actually true, he's literally the most mockable president ever, you don't have to overly exaggerate like they do with Trump.

I read what you said. Biden is simply nowhere near as amusing figure as Trump is. Never has been. No president since Nixon has been. A single tweet from Trump can hold more potential comedy in it than an entire year of a Biden presidency. Anyone who thinks Biden is more mockable than Trump, somebody who has had people make fun of him since the 80s, is clearly rather partisan. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

The last few seasons have been 5 or 6 episodes long. Not much room for sleepy Joe gags. And yes, the far left is made fun of often. And anyone who is bitching about the Trump gags needs to grow a pair. What's going on in the here and now is ripe full of amazing satire potential. Season 1 to 10 is incredible, but everytime I tried to watch after has been awkward and forced. It's hard to take people serious who says it has been good in the last few seasons. Like people who think Rick & Morty is funny. Gonna watch this episode though.

I never really stayed with it after Season 17 or 18, not because of quality but eventually I just lost interest personally. But I would say Seasons 11-18 still had plenty of solid episodes (also the two RPG video games are really solid).
Just rewatched "I Should Never Have Gone Ziplining" last night, god I love that one.

The funny thing is right after Trump was elected the first time they said they weren't going to be like everyone else a focus all their jokes on him. I think they said the election was already a joke. I remember all the crazy things the Left were saying and doing after that election and I thought "Man, I can't wait for South Park to make fun of it all, including this crazy shit the Left is doing." But, it seems they got TDS like the rest of Hollywood, because they made fun of nothing the Left did. No matter how crazy they got.
The entire season, which was their worst, focused solely on Trump, even though they said they weren't going to. There was maybe two episodes that whole season that didn't, which were actually the better episodes of that season. It seems they didn't get a great reaction to that season, because after it they dropped most of the Trump hate and got back to mainly mocking everybody, mainly celebrities.
Looks like they're right back at it with TDS, again. Shame. Definitely be skipping this season.

This just wasn't funny IMO, they could have made fun of Trump in thousandsof hilarious ways. This is mostly funny for shock factor but the humor itself is meh.

that's the reason they went so over the top. they essentially made a big fuck you episode directed both at Paramount and at Trump.
and no, there simply wasn't any good material about Biden. at most you could make a one-off joke about him being senile, and that's about it. nothing he did as a president was in any way remarkable

It doesn't help that the Trump jokes have been done to death and EVERYONE is doing them. There's no shock value or risk or raging against the machine when ALL of the Hollywood machine is doing the exact same jokes.
A much better Trump episode during the 2017 season, and really the only funny one that focused on Trump from that Trump-centric season, was when Tweak was trying to patch things up with North Korea and Trump kept messing it up with his tweets.
Of course, it played on silly people thinking Trump was going to start WW3 with his tweets, which never happened, but it was still a very funny episode. Interestingly, I looked back at a previous article and do find it funny that Matt and Trey said they were going to stop focusing on Trump jokes in the next season after getting "baited" into focusing on him too much in that season. Guess they took the bait, again.

While everyone is pretending he's perfectly capable to run the country in that state. Or how the economy took a nose dive, and inflation skyrocketed while they pretend it's great. Hell, even if you can't handle bashing Biden, have the senile thing be just an act for the public, while he's all there behind the scenes, and his campaign manager just thinks it'll appeal more to the voters. Anything is better than nothing.
The truth is, there was plenty of Biden material. They just weren't going to do it. And it's not like they needed to have a Biden-centric season, like they did with Trump. One or two episodes would have been fine. But there was none. Matt and Trey just aren't the same people they were before Trump. They are not going to make fun of both sides equally like they did before. And to pretend they still do is just foolish.
Take something like the Disney episode, it turned out not to be Kathleen Kennedy at all. They made the real her a very reasonable person and basically said the fans are just as much at fault for the poor perfomance of the entertainment products, because they're hating too much on them, regardless of how poor the product is. I guess their message is we're just supposed to consume and wait for the next product, no criticism to be had.
Even in the new episode, sure they say woke is dead, but it's more to say the anti-woke won't have anything to live for if woke actually goes away. As if the anti-woke wouldn't just go back to enjoying their lives and franchises like they did before the woke virus infected every aspect of our entertainment.
