Trump base just can't make up their minds on things huh

I do not remember them making fun of Obama or Biden. Funny how Trump is always the exception. The last several "seasons" have not been funny. Sucks to see another show losing it's edge and yet they continue to milk it. Just cancel them already.
Looks like we found a snowflake

you never disputed to be butthurt either.

and I gotta say, I'd rather be a 12yo that speaks a second, self taught language well enough to the point where I get complimented for it online, than be a butthurt guy crying about a south park episode that hurt my feelings.
Pretentious much? Holy shit.

South Park co-creator Trey Parker had the briefest of responses on Thursday to anger from the White House over the latest season premiere, which showed a naked Donald Trump in bed with Satan.

"We're terribly sorry," Parker said, followed by a long, deadpan-comic stare.

:messenger_grinning_smiling:

Later in the panel, Parker said they did get a note from their producers on the episode.

"They said, 'OK, but we're gonna blur the penis,' and I said, 'No you're not gonna blur the penis,'" Parker said.

Stone added that the team decided to put eyes on the penis, which would make it a character: "If we put eyes on the penis, we won't blur it. That was a whole conversation with grown-up people for four fucking days."

Even back in it's heyday, I couldn't stand South Park. It's the dirt cheap animation, the ass art style, the dedication to their fictional universe which essentially loads of inside joke on top of inside joke, making it feel like watching the entire series is necessary, before realizing it's all in the name of understanding the deep lore behind "TREE FIDDY," and "TIMMY,"

Like...I get that it has it's hooks and nostalgia and loyal fanbase, but Jesus Christ, the entertainment value is right up there with watching videos of people tilling land in real time.

You may just not have a sense of humor. I can understand not liking the show, especially as it became more and more tied to popular culture and current news, but if you dont laugh at some of the earlier episodes then that is pretty sad.

Well, to be fair, I've only gathered that opinion from the slew of early episodes I saw when they aired. They could have very well found some sort of groove to settle into or improve the caliber of humor used, I'm not super sure. Anyone here wants to link the holy grail of clips to me from the better recent stuff and I'll see if my tune changes.

The other point against me is my sense of humor is tuned more to wordplay and surrealist humor. It's hard to explain. I'd like to think with the number of laugh reacts I've accrued here that at least some people here find *me* funny at one point or another, but there's a very real chance that the manner in which I determine if someone is funny to me or not may in fact be broken.

Had some laughs. But it does come across like they were paid to bitch about Trump. Being paid to bitch about Trump does seem like a pretty tough and saturated market though...

another one who didn't understand the episode... 🤣

literally the opposite is happening. this episode is literally written to piss off their employers. they have already been paid and they don't care.

they had a very bad relationship with Paramount for a while now, and Paramount happens to try to be cosy with the government so that their merger with Skydance gets approved. so what did South Park do? make an episode about Trump that's so insane that they are basically begging him to sue Paramount and to fuck with their merger.

and in a second stroke of genius the 2 things they focused on, and for which he could sue, are his penis being small, and that he's in the Epstein files. meaning if he would sue, he'd need to proof that his dick isn't small and that he isn't in the files 🤣

Biden being boring sounds like a cope to me., there was lots of comedy gold like showing him mumbling while his aides say he's, "sharp as a tack!"

This just wasn't funny IMO, they could have made fun of Trump in thousandsof hilarious ways. This is mostly funny for shock factor but the humor itself is meh.
