capslock said:Launch in 8 months when we haven't seen a single screenshot of a Revolution game yet? Doubtful.

Didn't MS do the same thing with Xbox 360? The time from the MTV unveiling to launch is around 6.5 months.
Juice said:If this is true, I'd be excited just because there'd be some spacing between the three consoles. Xbox this November, Rev in June, and PS3 next October/November. I don't believe for a second that the PS3 will leave the island of Japan anytime sooner than next October.

mrklaw said:So we haven't seen anything related to Revolution and you still think it can launch before PS3? While I'm not doubting the ability of Nintendo to launch in June (mostly first party stuff could be kept very secret), why the doubting on Sony?
And if this is true (big if), then Sony has no choice but to at least attempt a global launch. In theory they should be best placed logistically to handle one, but with two other hot platforms taking up capacity, it may be more difficult.
John Harker said:Yea, this isn't happening unless there is some kind of show or conference before the end of the year.
I mean, why launch a system without any games?

jarrod said:June might happen for Japan, but I doubt a worldwide release then. Unlike Sony though, Nintendo should be able to launch in all territories within a few months.
Although SP**G has been unable to clarify the Revolution launch price point with anything near the same accuracy as we have its launch date, a tag of $200 for the US, 300 in mainland Europe, and £200 in the UK is a near certainty.

Just like with DS, Nintendo's going to keep the best deal at home.Kroole said:Umm.. That's surely a nice price for Japan you have there![]()
Worked for the GBC/GBA shift. Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, Pokemon Crystal and Dragon Warrior III all got a nice bump from new GBA owners looking for something "deeper" to play.SantaCruZer said:- If they roll out Zelda in early may, then it could sell for both GC and Revolution.

Same thing with Dragon Quest VII on PS2 in Japan. In fact, the more I think about it, the more likely it seems for Nintendo to push TWW as a "transition" game.
Announced games so far...Wyzdom said:Yeah but what will be the games for the Rev? There's almost no game announced and it's not even a year away.
Even the PS3 looks dry and we know about some games already.
