I enjoyed it. If you're looking for lots of combos and stuff then you may be dissapointed. The combat's not really set up that way. It's more about the situation you use the combat in. There's lots of blocking, trying to maneuver yourself to a better position, short burst of fighting, back to blocking as the enemies close in around you.
There's also a decent amount of variety in the mission objectives to keep things interesting, and later enemies start to require you to think more about how you approach them (like the undead who can't just be beaten to death to be killed, or the assasins who can be tricky to get hits on). Bosses are quite good as well.
I'd say it's a good solid game, rather than spectacular.
