To answer the questions about streaming, this year the VGA stream will be available worldwide in HD at Spike.com and GameTrailers.com -- no geoblocking and it will work on phones and tablets too. You can also watch on Xbox Live in around 15 countries worldwide (North America, most of Europe, Australia, etc). We're trying to bring you the VGAs live on as many platforms as possible.

Stream will probably suck, I hope not but

I don't understand why. the christmas period is nearly over, there won't be another big sales holiday, so why not use this opportunity to get the word out about a new console generation?

December hardware sales are usually higher than November actually. Even January is often a pretty strong month.

Will there be a possibility to watch the whole show spoiler free afterwards? Cause its 2am in Germany when the live show starts.

Pretty sure it's 3 AM (15:00) in Germany when it starts. Unless I'm thinking wrong, it begins 2 AM GMT, and Germany is in GMT+1 (aka CET) which would be 3 AM (15:00).

I would like to see Fallout 4

Then I remember that I only have a ps3, and I don't want to buy another console or new pc with the next generation looming. Then I don't want it anymore.

As lame as the awards sometimes are, I kind of look forward to ordering a pizza and just crashing in on a Friday night to watch these. Hoping for some good reveals.

15:00 ? 03:00! - middle of the night ;)

I have no idea what you're talking about to be honest.

EDIT: Oh, wait... I confused AM with PM, right? My apologies.

Sigh, what's with this third-world twelve-hour clock ridiculousness. I wish everyone could advance to the 24-hour clock for simplicity. Also, while we're at it, everyone should advance to the metric system by now.

Well, in any case, never mind what I said earlier then :lol

Will I need gold to stream it on XBox Live? Answer is probably yes.

The AI in The Last of Us is spectacular from what we've seen so far.

I don't see how you could say that it is boring.

This. The game completely adapts to your playstyle. Seeing how different the E3 and Gamescom walkthrough of the same level played out was stunning. It looks gorgeous of course and it's a new IP. That's a lot more intesting than [insert sequel here].

Can't wait to see more.

More teasing for Bioshock.

So there's supposed to be 10 reveals, but we already know about 6 of them? I don't understand.

I'm very tired and there's a chance I've misread the OP/thread completely.

Well, the short version is that most of the VGA premiers will be of already announced games because the generation is almost over and there aren't many people willing to debut their next-gen games early.

There are a few unannounced games showing up at the show though which they aren't teasing at all this year, and the popular guess is that these are primarily next-generation games (that might have versions on current gen consoles as well).

Basically, only expect a few unannounced games, but for most of those to be significant like (seemingly present) Destiny.

Did he say ten reveals specifically at one point?

Anyways, Shortened version is:

The Last of Us
Gears of War: Judgement
South Park The Stick of Truth
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2
BioShock Infinite
Tomb Raider
Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington
Halo 4: Spartan Ops

EDIT: It's the tenth anniversary, is that where the ten came from?

EDIT2: Also the "old-school" game thing and something with Cliff B maybe?

Battlefield 4 is rumoured cross gen and next year so maybe that

I will not be watching the VGAs for 4 reasons.

1) Its boring

2) Walking Dead will not win GOTY even though it should be.

3) Bioshock Infinate Media Blackout

4) Last of Us Media Blackout.

I feel the most likely options are big games that are new IPs or otherwise relatively unknown, since EA can just put up a teaser site for Battlefield 4 and get a gigantic audience to tune into their trailer.

Something like Destiny is more of an unknown in the general public, even if it's likely to get $50+ million in marketing at launch, so this is a good stage to introduce it.

Maybe Rocksteady's new game will be shown. Arkham City also debuted on the VGA's.

Something like this also works well because it's a mass media brand and drives awareness to people who might otherwise not see it.

Out of those I am interested in the bolded. The Last of Us being my most anticipated game for next year.

Man, what a boring list. There isn't one game that hasn't been seen in depth here, and I consider two of them to be things that are already released. Can't believe they're so starving for reveals that they're showing DLC. On the bright side, maybe that means next-gen really is finally around the corner?

Anyone see this yet?

10hMichael Gamble‏@GambleMike

All done with with VGA content for Spike's award show this Friday. Huge thanks to @geoffkeighley and his team for being great to work with.

Michael Gamble = Producer on the Mass Effect franchise at BioWare.

5-minute skit between Wrex and Sam Jackson.

"Jackson."
"Wrex."
"Jackson."
"Wrex."
"Jackson."
"Wrex..."
"Jackson."
"Say Jackson again. SAY JACKSON AGAIN, I DARE YOU, I DOUBLE DARE YOU MOTHERFUCKER"

While BioWare hasn't officially announced a Citadel DLC yet (I believe), APZonerunner of RPGSite told me on twitter that "It's happening". I take that as a confirmation.

APZ, you can clarify this if you need to.

Sigh so 3 premiers are for DLC. Damn that's a bit shit, but at least it means we pretty much know all the games that will come out for PS3/360 next year. It's a bit worrying for the Wii U, but what can you do.

So nothing for Nintendo unless the old-school gamer thing is Yoshi's Land. But then again, that doesn't seem like the best game to show off to a bunch of dudebros. Probably some old Contra copy or something.

I meant a good one, I know there will be one or two, probably.

They'll need to be very impressive to save that list of games we've already seen a lot of.
