I'd much rather see something new than those 2.
Right, I'm kind of surprised that whenever next-gen comes up, a large number of people only seem to mention those two instead of like... the assuredly 50+ other games in development for next-gen that could also be shown.

In for Castlevania, Bioshock, and whatever the surprise nostalgic thing is (although I have little faith as far as that's concerned).
I can say for sure that there won't be any watch dogs around in the next few months.
agreed. it would fit perfectly with the "leak" from last week.
I feel the biggest sign is that they had marketing assets ready for immediate release when the leak happened this time.
It's nice to want things.

Doritospope tweeted something about the leak as if he was sort of pissed off because of it. Maybe he was waiting to reveal it in the VGAs.
Hmm, 4 performing acts each 5 minutes is 20 minutes, probably about 10 "hosts" or presenters 2 minutes each is 20 minutes, VGA nominees and giving the trophy to them etc. probably again 20 minutes. So half the show we won't see any game trailers. Other 60 minutes, let's say 20 reveals with 3 minutes each xD

Alan Wake 2? Remedy new IP?
I am so done with this gen. I have started playing Asscreed 3 10 days ago, still on sequence 2. Have Hitman and a few more games (don't even know anymore) but don't feel the need to play them. Probably gen fatique.
The only games that I really want to play are TLOU, Beyond and GOWA. I didn't like Bio 1 & 2 so I know Infinite will disappoint me, but it looks kinda cool.

MS will never start a "sneak peak" into next gen with something like Alan Wake, no way in hell. It's either Halo/Forza/Gears or some other massive new FPS IP.
You know, the thing that says X hours X minutes and is correct no matter where you are?

The first games teased the last time around were Kameo, PGR3 and PDZ so anything is possible, but I don't expect Microsoft to show any next gen games yet.

In honesty, Valve are the last company in the world you need to bitch at for not creating new IPs. Since Half Life 2, we've had Left 4 Dead and Portal, and two excellent sequels to both. Not to mention TF2 which is basically a brand new IP.
