Spin Six (DSiWare) aka Creatures Inc.'s own... Pokégotchi? 118 of them! (56k?)

It seems like Nintendo has a SECOND collection of monsters, and could be considered like a step cousin of a spin-off of Pokemon, as Spin Six, which is a game in a series that originated on the GBC, the series seems to be known in English as Chailien.

Creatures pages of the games:

GBC: http://www.creatures.co.jp/html/products/others/game/003.html
GBA: http://www.creatures.co.jp/html/products/others/game/021.html
DS (Spin Six): http://www.creatures.co.jp/html/products/others/post_6.html

There was also supposedly an eReader game, but Creatures seemingly doesn't list it?

Anyway, Creatures as you know is one of the copyright holders of Pokemon and is a part in pretty much EVERYTHING in the franchise; games, cards, Anime, the list goes on.

But they seem to have created their OWN line of monsters. Which to me look ALOT like Tamagotchi monsters, hence the my nickname of... Pokegotchi. :p

Back to Spin Six, this is on DSiWare I believe worldwide for a measly 500 points, and it is GREAT!

Nintendolife and IGN give great reviews of it:

http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/2010/06/spin_six_dsiware
http://ca.ign.com/articles/2010/06/30/spin-six-review

It's a very quirky in style yet simplistic puzzle game, this is the only one of the franchise to get localized (helped that it was a download game).

So now I wanted to make a thread appreciating the franchise, by showing you ALL the monsters that seem to exist, I have the swf files of all but maybe the last ones but couldn't rip the svg files from them (don't have the programs for that), luckily I just found gif files buried on their website, which I put below in a quote, there are A LOT of them!

I'm positive GAF will find a few... ahem... interesting. ;)

Some are strange, some are amusing, many are adorable. Nice & simplistic designs.

I think I could get behind this.

(Ecxept maybe for the explicit designs... Are these cero B atleast?)

I miscounted, there are actually 119, but there's actually one more if you count the pig you see on the website, but I think it's like a leader so it might not count.

And I wish more folks posted, I put a lot of thought into this. :(

I like the GameBoy Advance and Gamecube 'mons.

I am confused though, how do the monsters relate to the puzzle game? They just chill out on the side? Or is the DSiware game a spin-off?

In Spin Six, they're just in the background, mostly adding personality. They seem really underutilized.

I own the GBA game.

It has spin 6 (well actually I think the DSiWare version has more content but not sure) and two other games in it. The other 2 games have a similar spin mechanic. One you move the pig icon to the food with the layouts getting complex and the time shorter (so like a slightly more in depth Wario Ware game) and the other you move tiles around in order to make a path while an alien auto walks along it (and the screen auto-scrools).

IIRC the names were Kuru Kuru six cook and walk.

Edit: Seems I already said some of that in the Nintendolife comments:
Me in the past said:
@KeeperBvK. I for one don't remember a time attack in the GBA game (also the walking game with the moving platforms and the microwave game aren't present in the DSiWare game) and the vs mode stuff could also be missing but apart from that it looks like it could be the same.
