Have you considered the South African store?

Will be live at 11pm UK time, and also works out at 38 quid. It's also EU region so no different to the UK version.

Other advantage is all you need to do is go to mynintendo.com change your region and you can use your uk debit/credit card, make your purchase and then change your region back to UK. No messing about with creating additional accounts and having all your purchases spread across different accounts.

I've bought all my games this way. It's actually cheaper than buying physical.

It's showing as 669 Rand, and 3.3Gb on the South African eShop.

By any chance does anyone know if GameStop will be getting the HORI headsets? I sent a DM to them on Facebook about other retailers other than Amazon.com, but haven't heard anything. Tried to call the one GameStop near me and they couldn't tell me yet as they were still working on unloading the shipment of stuff that came in.

Definitely a con to going digital for the Switch. I decided larger single player games I would go physical and smaller titles or multiplayer titles I would go digital. Oh well, full day of waiting around for the eshop to update.

Honestly, the Pro Controller feels like a night and day difference to me. If I'm playing with the Switch docked, I'll always pick up my Pro. It also has quite a bit to do with me being too lazy to take the JoyCon off every time.

It's worth it provided you're not bothered about reselling games etc.

I never trade in games, and the fact I'm getting games for less than what I'd pay for the physical version it's ideal.

I love the fact I can use my bank card with no issues too.

I picked up the game earlier today and managed to work my way to the third bossfight. Really great single player so far, takes what the original did and adds new weapons, enemies and more and having a blast. Unfortunately no online for me, my ISP is having serious problems for over eleven hours now...

Going by my experience playing at the weekend the motion aiming feels weird.

Wish it was like Breath of the Wild when using the bow.

I hate how motion only works on one axis. It would feel great using it for quick adjustments on the fly.

I also felt the joycon sticks didn't feel great making adjustments, so I'll be experimenting with the sensitivity settings for sure.

Yes, is there like a fine tuning setting to only use the motion controls for, and leave everything else for the sticks all direction control?

Killzone Vita had this feature and it was simply amazing.

A BoTW motion control scheme should have been in the game.

The current setup may have worked for the Wii U but the Switch is also a handheld device and it's distracting to be tilting the device toward the floor/ceiling in a heated battle whenever you have the low/high ground.

Grenades are the worst, you usually need to aim really high so it's harder to see the screen when you're tilting the device that far away.

It wasn't a problem in BoTW because if I needed to aim high or low enough I could just use the analog stick and do the fine tuning with motion once the camera is roughly centered.

Yeah I agree.

It doesn't help that without motion controls the vertical axis just feels weird to control. I can't quite explain what it is. I remember the original feeling the same.

I kinda wish Splatoon 1 amiibo just gave you the same gear as Splatoon 2 amiibo do. Although, I guess it ultimately doesn't matter much since I'm likely not going to end up using amiibo gear most of the time. I think the only piece of gear I ended up using a lot after filling the ability slots was the hairclip, but I do like the Spla2n's amiibo gear better than the first game's.
