Not a digital guy here but I'm pretty sure preloading was a thing with wii u and 3ds. Why isn't it on the switch?

Because just about everything to do with Switch's launch was rushed.

Can someone let me know what the dry icon means in the lobby, it says dry and has a number next to it (1.0 in my case), and also the symbol next to your money means, it kinda looks like a purple blob with green face? The number next to the green face hasn't changed yet just says 000.

Not totally sure because I'm on a different language but sounds like it might be the meter that tracks your win/loss ratio with different weapons. Not sure how it works exactly but it seems to increase one point for each match you win and decrease a bit faster when you lose.

Not sure about the blob.
