I somewhat enjoyed the test but I really hate the Gamepad, anyone know if the full version will be able to use the Pro Controller? The website says jack about that.

I'm impressed by this Diasy who had mastered finding high ground and then 360 noscoping everyone with that sniper-ish weapon. Impressive! Good aim too.

I'm fucking amazed there were as few connectivity problems as there were. Hopefully it can be this smooth on day one with a lot more people playing the full game

Holy shit that last fight was HYPE as FUCK. We were getting our asses kicked and we got it back in the last 30 seconds, great game.

I am getting my preorder for sure, based GCU.

Played several matches, tried out all the different weapons, no issues with getting into a game after getting past the initial connection errors.

I had played demos of the game before, but seeing the roller and charger weapon were nice additions. The latter I need to get a better hang of to use effectively, but the roller is just fun in a sort of mindless way.

Can't wait for release. Finished product's gonna be tons of fun, I can tell.

that was so much fun! damn I tried to play another game but then it said server maintenance! Totally didn't realize it was already 9. Ink Roller my favorite weapon lol it's OP

Well I'm pre-purchasing this immediately. I loved the hell out of it and won every match while testing out weapons. Roller is my absolute favorite though. It allows me to freely cover up turf without having to fight. And when I do fight I just play smart and roll everyone over!

Was playing Destiny until too late into the evening, but I got to spend 35-40 minutes with Splatoon, and had a lot more fun than I thought I would.

Love that roller!

Not a fan of how Nintendo forces us to look down at the gamepad to see the map instead of putting it on the screen or allowing voice chat. Can't believe people we're trying to say this wouldn't be an issue, I can't take my eyes off the TV to glance at my teammates positions every few seconds.

I find the map thing fun, I normally don't look at it until the match is finished to keep the suspense going.

The game is really fun. Dunno if I'll buy it at launch, but we'll see.

I liked the gyro controls. The controls were too imprecise with it disabled. They really cut it off on the mark tonight. 12 o' clock sharp ... all us squid be turning back into ... uh pumpkin squid.

Didn't have a lot of time to get accustomed to the secondary stuff but the paint roller was so much fun. Game is gonna be a blast.

Against a team of four motherfucking rollers lol

So easy to kill i you keep your distance.
2 campers were killing me over and over with my roller.
But then I managed to sneak passed them and cover more territory and we won.

Lesson o the day : camping/pvp isn't the goal of the game campers!

Game is super fun. Dunno if I'll get it day one but I enjoyed the demo a lot more than I expected too. I did really well in every match I played too, I think I only had one match where I had more deaths than kills.

That was a really fast hour.

Didn't try out the Splattershot Jr. as I hate SMG type weapons.

Roller is fun at first but I don't think it's as OP as people believe. I had a match where 3 people had rollers and we didn't fare too well. Grenade usage seems really important, and snipers have really good grenades (I actually did better as a sniper than I thought I would, though being able to use one of the rifles that can zoom or has a scope would be preferable).

Damn this was great.

People say rollers are OP but I was steamrolling them in my last matches with the standard gun. Grenades + bullets are too much for the roller. It's still a pretty good weapon.

Yea I forgot about the grenade until my last few matches and it seemed like everyone else forgot about it too in the games I played.

So I got the game after 40 minutes, understood the verticality and the gravity of the shot and how you can spray so much faster from above. The motion controllers sat nicely after awhile and I was aiming and killing no problem. Still need to master squid and people switch and be more acrobatic.

Game is a blast though! So fun!

How many hours till the next wave?

The pier level is great for vertical climbing, but I love the warehouse! It's just so fun to set-up a route all the way across the level and just be near the center in instants, faster than the super-jump.

And absolutely ZERO lag or connection problems after the initial bump on my end. Worked real nice.

I find it really disorienting to have to look down at the gamepad to see the map. I honestly hope there's an option to just show it on the TV.

That's just part of getting skilled at the game, man. People who are good at quickly assessing the map with a glance will be better than those who ignore it.

Well, that was a lot of fun. Probably the most fun I've had with a new Nintendo franchise since the 90s.

That was fun, sucked I couldn't use my pro controller though :( Hopefully I que'd up with some peeps Nintendo name was Sealtest.
