Hmm. Are they going to be any other opportunities to try out the game other than those Testfire sessions? Some kind of demo?

I've had a passing interest in the game, checked out a japanese stream last night, and it's still tough to tell if it's something that I'll really like. I don't think I'll have any irl friends to play with but there's always GAF for that. Decisions!

Except not. You always end up using something no matter how you slice it. It has been discussed/argued to death in the other threads before launch. They'll never update it for multiplayer. Singleplayer is your only chance.

They do indeed, but I don't think every BB has the demo. The demo itself is of the single-player, and it gives a idea how to play and all that jazz (The tutorial from the Testfire was in the demo at BB); it was pretty fun, and I wanted to play a bit more if I wasn't strapped for time. :<

While I am really enjoying the game, I feel like some of the maps really don't prevent spawn camping enough since there's only one exit to it. Especially with how you lose special progress on death.

Yeah, If people could mix and match everyone would use the exact same set up (the strongest)

It was put really well in the Gametrailers review that each set has it's strengths and weaknesses, and learning to play around the differences and weaknesses in each weapon set is way more fun than just picking the best of the best all the time.

It's the same with the maps switching up all the time. If you could choose, everyone would choose the same one, and it would be boring.

It not being there for singleplayer should get fixed as it's really easy to implement Off Tv Play.

But yeah, this will likely never get it for multiplayer because the whole point of the Gamepad is to see the way the match is going and warp to your teammates.

It's really silly that EU doesn't have that option but fortunately, Splatoon is less than 2 gigs, so you won't have to wait too long to play it once it unlocks.

I dunno, I don't particularly agree due to how some of the maps are designed.

I'll admit it doesn't happen often, but it can be annoying when it does.

It's possibly a fault of the matchmaking being iffy due to low player count until release, though.

Digital: It'll always be on your system, thus eliminating the need to switch discs.
Physical: Always have it on you in physical form in case you need to bring it somewhere. If you're worried about Nintendo's online "account system", this gets rid of that fear.
