Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

Splatoon is good.

Ever since I started sticking with the Krak-On Roller, I've been cleaning up in Ranked. I started playing Ranked at level 12, and I'm a high B- at level 15. As long as I make sure to put down a beacon somewhere out of sight near the Splat Zone and make sure not to approach anybody carelessly, I can do really well. The super can be great for taking back a point or sending enemies running so your team can regain footing. Getting clothing with Defense Up is a huge boon.

Is this weapon as dominant as I think it is, or am I going to start getting zoned out by decent people once I go up a rank or two?

I dunno about B rank folks being wiser. The three other dudes in my team all super jumped to their deaths while I stayed behind to watch them.

Ok guys, I gotta go, almost 1am and I gotta stuff to do tomorrow...
Hope you guys had fun, and sorry about the surprise rollers in the face xD
Btw Dan, you hate me or something? Killed me almost every single time kkkk

It's my fav roller, because it's both support and let you play offensive.
But if you have someone skilled with a rapid-fire weapon or a sniper on the other team, you are going to suffer a lot to kill them.

I only hate blasters.

Ive been holding off on this because I'm busy with a lot of other games and not a lot of money to be honest.

Do people feel that it has lasting appeal? Worth it to pop into for an hour at at time and get out?

By the way, you can fire into an inkstrike but you can't subweapon into an inkstrike. If you see an inkstrike you can just start firing wildly into it and almost instantly reverse the majority of its gains before it's even finished whirling.

An hour? You will suffer to put it out after you start. That "just one more game" syndrome.
At least it's what happens with me, it's just so fun that you dont even get all that much mad if you lose, specially because the teams are reshuffled after every match and sometimes you gotta play with your rivals.

I guess just because I was a roller you thought of me as a easy target...
And you were half right, I got my squid skills too

I noticed that too, another thing is that the inkstrike hits you by a bit more than the radius it shows.

When I see scrubs I know irl thinking motion controls are bad on Splatoon on facebook

I can't state enough how great it is to be able to buy gear other people are wearing. Aside from how balanced the weapons are, this is probably my favorite thing about the multiplayer.

Now that I'm making a conscious effort to focus on how I want to play and which abilities I want, I've gotten better.

It's definitely good enough to have lasting appeal. Whether the enthusiasm holds will depend on how much content they dish out and the improvements they make to online teams.
