I really hope Friend Lobbies allow you to do these things a least:
1. Allow people to choose teams. Though I don't particularly care to be on anyone's specific teams, but if someone wanted to do tournaments or some other private match related thing (example: Rapid Blasters vs Blasters), one would need the ability to choose teams.
2. Join lobbies of friends of friends. An option to disable it should be in as well. It would just become a pain in the ass if you need to have everyone who wants to join added as friends. I don't think any Nintendo game allows this, but one can hope.
3. Choose maps regardless of the rotation. It would be incredibly stupid if private lobbies were limited to whatever is in the map rotation.
4. Change weapons/gear in the lobby. Or at least weapons. This one isn't as big of a problem cause it would be easy to leave a lobby, change, and then join the lobby again, but it would still be nice to be able to do that.

Yeah we had a bunch of double kills in that session felt like every game we weren't on the same team we double killed each other

Do we know how exactly matchmaking works? Is it completely random? And do the teams get randomly shuffled again when I hit "continue"?

I'm gonna admit, I didn't really care for Echolocator nor Cold Blooded at first when I found out about them. Cold Blooded seemed like a silver bullet for Point Sensors and Echolocator, and neither of those seemed that good compared to the other sub-weapons or specials that were available.
Through many recent games though, I've changed my mind, at least for Point Sensors and Echolocators.

LOL I just feel terrible for my teammates. They probably went "oh shit" when they see they got paired with me at the beginning lol. Did you had that feeling in that one game when you were on my team ? My presence makes my teammate tremble in fear !!!
