Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

When deciding whether to go for a kill, it really boils down to how productive those people would have otherwise been. It's usually a waste of time to kill someone that has just left their base, or pick on the deadweight team member. But killing people who enter your side of the map uncontested, or just got their inkstrike special, is 100% worth a trade-off death.

Finally managed to get my terrible recording equipment to record a couple of matches (in 'glorious' 480i). I'm using a Roller here, but I usually use a Charger.

Gonna try recording some more in a couple of hours, hopefully get it to output a better picture. I'll also be jamming with my Charger.

That was a close call in the first vid. Just some advice about the dynamo roller, you'd fill your special bar faster and cover more ground by using its shot rather than rolling with it, also you can go up to 4 or 5 echolocators per round this way.

what's your best superjumper kill chain? My new record is 4

please, Sendou would never go 21-6 against Tendou

alright alright just kidding :p.

That said, I'd remember the name( and so do others) and would go to kill him/her and his game first next round if still in the opposite team.

I don't get it! Why in the hell do you loose more than you gain in A rank? This is so anoniying, overall when the whole matchmaking system depends on lucky.

I think the biggest part of playing Charger with motion controls is to be relaxed. I can't tell you how many times I've missed a person by a molecule just because I was holding the charge button too tight, which causes the gamepad to move a bit when I let go. =/

Doin well on the warehouse. Got the enemy pinned down with the new gun. Don't know why they didn't take the high road to get out of their area and back to the zone. Just kept swimming up the bottom lanes.

You can charge the base with ink bomb rush as soon as you get it and generally hold position long enough to net back up. After that they just sort of fold once you position by the bottom two lanes.

stop moving for just a few seconds please, Doc
you're kinda hard to hit when you jump around the whole place

on fire +15, we need the Japanese players back

Man, I feel stupid. I remember a week ago looking in the settings and seeing the "Color Lock" option. I turned it on and saw no immediate effect, and questioned what it was. I know now from GAF that it just locks the colors to Blue and Orange, but I didn't realize till today that I still had it on.

All my matches were with Blue and Orange ink, and I never noticed (too engrossed by the gameplay). When I turned it off, I was weirded out by the colors; It felt like a different game.

I never super jump unless it is after spawn to a protected part of the map. I really should more often though rather than just running to teammates.

Wow, I was a bit down on the controls earlier, so I played singleplayer for a bit. When I started the multiplayer again it suddenly clicked. And when it clicks it clicks. Was first place in five out of six matches and immediately turned fresh. That zoom jump to your team mates across the map is a stroke of genius too.

As long as you don't jump into the middle of a firefight though

The worst is when you jump to a teammate, they immediately start running in the opposite direction of the enemy's territory and allow them to cover up the area you're jumping to

In ranked mode:

"Damn, I sucked that match. Sorry for letting you down team."

My k/d: 3/3

Player 2: 0/2
Player 3: 0/3
Player 4: 0/6

._.

That feeling when 2 chargers have their sights on you and you successfully super jump away.
Edit: me vs 2 GAF Chargers is hard. Heh.

Edit 2: Last game for me after this.

I've not played much in the last few days but today the shops decided to punish me by having over 25,000G worth of stuff to get. Plus I started up at 10PM so I gambled on ranked. It paid off.

Plus not a laggy Japanese roller in sight...well there was one laggy roller on my side (I don't mean because they were using a Dynamo slowrer but becuase the trail was behind them :( ) in a game that went to overtime with my worst non-0pt finish ever. 30 points. LOL.

There was also a really embarrassing death on the mall. I was looking on the Gamepad and went into squid form on the right corridor and jumped through the rails and fell to my death.

I then played turf war and ranked has messed my mind up. Like in the warehouse I could see the splat zone area and was playing as if it was splat zones until my mind snapped back into gear. The worst thing is I've only played splat zones on that stage like twice.

I WAS SO CLOSE TO BEING A B MINUS BOY

ONE VICTORY AWAY

MY SPLATOON AMIIBOS ARE SLEEPING FACEDOWN TONIGHT

Eh... Strange..

Can play online just fine. But the friends tab acts if I have no friends.

#foreveralone

Anybody else having that problem?

Edit:
Works again.
Looks like that's a problem if you have to many request/confirmations in the pipe.
