Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

This is why I can't do the Gal guns. Awesome kill potential and I can finally solo wall teams but the coverage SUUUUCKS meaning if one person gets behind me, GGs.
 
for real though I'm hype as fuck for both new modes

nah I would love to see the definitive numbers for comeback, could be worth it
I figure the matches where I don't die are mostly matches I'll be wining anyways, and comeback could help me in matches have taken the center and are playing good defense, which I usually struggle with.

I don't know how accurate the wiki is but it says:

Boosts many abilities for 20 sec after respawning:

+20% Main ink efficiency
+20% Ink Recharge Rate
+20% Run speed boost
+20% Squid speed boost
+10% Secondary ink efficiency
+16.66% or 1 second Quick jump boost
+10% Special Recharge Rate (maybe)
Suspected damage boost and defense boost, but cannot be determined since the ability cannot be engaged in the firing range.


If even the "confirmed" stuff is true you'll pretty much effectively have 8 mains equipped, which should be pretty nuts. (The buffs for run speed, squid speed, and secondary ink saver are actually stronger than the standard main abilities per the wiki everything else is equal to one main)

We need a "Push you cunts, their whole team is dead!" yell mapped to D-pad.
Yeah, I had a match where I took out a charger who was giving us a lot of trouble and then traded splats with one of their other players and wanted to convey this. I sent my team a come on, to try to indicate that they should try to move forwards, but it doesn't really work especially given differences in localization and such. I think a dude actually warped back to the spawn point to meet me. Lol.

I'd also pay money to map "Give Beakon" to the D-pad.
 
I got hit with an Inkzooka round from the other side of the tower on Blackbelly (closest to the enemy team's base) when the person who fired it did so from the bottom of my base...

I had an Inkstrike.

It was the last second.
 
20 seconds isn't worth it.

thinking this is true, but I don't really like any other unique headgear abilities too much other than tenacity

if I die two or three times in a match (which is probably average for me) I get 40-60 seconds of boost, which seems substantial

Use "Booya!/Nice!" instead. It's a universal sign that the enemy has been killed, which good players should figure out means they can push. I slam down a Nice even if I see the enemies die during my kill-cam.
