Krakens have become, like, my unofficial nemesis in this game. I'm almost halfway tempted to build a cheeseball Kraken set for myself just for trolling's sake but I'm not very effective with rollers, so it might be kind of a lost cause.

A map full of Kraken's does indeed sound like hell. Although honestly, Kraken hasn't been an issue for me anymore. 99% of the time, I'm able to escape them. It's actually fun escaping someone chasing after you, and just knowing they are pissed off. Bonus points if you can bait them into chasing you into an area they will get rekt once they return to their kid form. Aggressive ink swimming takes care of them real quick.

Have you tried getting better at swimming aggressively in ink? You can usually outswim a Kraken. I really struggled with Kraken at first too, and realized I wasn't being aggressive enough with my in swimming.

I remember jumping over a Kraken in the Mall. When he turned around, he went on a near by grate, and because he was technically in Squid form, fell through and landed in the water. DEAD.
I doubt i'll see anything like that again.

I wish there was a way to mod the game so you couldnt see your rank in ranked cause then I would like the game mode more and it would be less stressful

I've gotten better at outrunning them, but rollers with the Kraken still piss me off

Started using the brush. Was pretty awful at it and was getting sub 300 points on games. Than it clicked with me that using the spread, grenades and some stealth is where this weapons true strength lies. Eventually I was able to get about 1300 points with it. I love it, it makes me feel like a ninja.

I can understand your frustrations. Funny enough, Rollers are actually my least favorite weapons in the game. I know how to counter them, but I just find them so frustrating. The fact that they do one hit kills if they as so much as catch an inch of your heels. The fact that, most people that use rollers just run blindly at things and suicide themselves over and over.
At the ranked level, people know how to use Rollers really well. But I generally find rollers to be annoying as hell. And even though I don't die that much from them, I do feel out of all the "fuck that shit, I shouldn't have died" deaths, they came from rollers.

I lied, I have that Pink Shrimp Polo. It's a cute shirt, but kind of looks like something a Best Buy employee would wear. And it's only a 2 star outfit. I could invest in more slots I guess. But I don't feel like investing in something I don't think looks as Fresh as my other stuff.
Gah. I wish most of the clothes didn't look like it was from the Wal Mart/Gap special. We need better clothes that are more fresh. Because the clothes we have now, just aren't cutting it.
I do wonder if I should just abandon my blue/white striped (Taylor Swift style) 3 star shirt, for this Pink Polo to get Ninja perk....
The pains of trying to stay fresh.
I just focus on going really fast and try to never stop (other than swinging to cover ink on wide areas).
First thing I usually do is rush to the tower, paint my way up and drop a Sprinkler. Then I drop down and try to ambush whoever's in the center, make a cycle throughout the map, get the Inkstrike, drop it somewhere and rinse/repeat. If I die I tend to drop a Sprinkler near the base since that's the more uncomfortable area to paint in due to all the slopes.
I kinda treat the Brush like TF2's Scout. Just rush in and out and be as annoying as possible.

My last few games I've been disconnected... The first few (5-6) games went perfectly, but now not so much. Tried restarting my router and everything, but no dice. I just want to splat

I wish the game itself collected those stats.

I think I already asked this in the last thread, but in the manual it states that going into first-person view in Inkopolis has another use in addition being able to 'yeah' miiverse graffiti art, does anyone know what else it can used for? Someone suggested it could be a quick way to order gear from Spyke but that isn't it.. unless I'm doing it wrong. Thanks!
