When you go to the screen with Ranked and Regular battles, just press the Y button. You will get either 3 or 5 minutes to survey the map depending on the mode you've chosen.

That was kind of the only real reason to use a Rapid Blaster Deco in Ranked too lol. I've seen some use it (never faced it, they always happen to be on my team lol) and Suction Bomb Rush is helpful.

Yeah that was ny initial impression of the weapon as soon as I saw its stats. Didn't really but it at first glance, but those suction bombs are amazing I'm sure.

Dunno if anyone's tested this, but do Suction Bombs and Splat Bombs have the same throwing distance? Splat Bombs have the advantage of being rolled so they can sometimes go just a bit further than Suction Bombs, but Suction Bombs being able to hang off of roofs and walls is useful in places like Kelp Dome...
